I usually just keep a little desktop fan... in my closet (dark room for dark cycles).
In my past 3 grows (I've only got a total of 4 grows under my belt. But, in almost 2 years of growing now.. that's not bad.)
but anyways.. to my point here.. I've always kept a 10inch desktop fan, inside the closet.. and always turn it on when its bed time for my
plants.
Why? Well, because for one, it helps keep 'stale' air from forming over night; it keeps any molds or fungus at bay; and lastly, I think its logical
since I have a fan for 'lights ON' time.. why not have another fan, mounted inside my dark room? Makes sense to me..
Might as well give my babies nice fresh air while they're sleeping.. not just while they're awake under the lights.
Let me break this down for ya: An oscillating fan will reduce humidity and temps (air temps), circulate air, and improve the stem strength (the breeze strengthens them). The importance of internal air circulation can not be stressed enough. It will exercise the plants and make them grow stronger, while reducing many hazards that could ruin your crop.
So again, for everyone that is new to growing.. and your not sure about adding a fan to your grow. Don't think, just do it.
Hope this helped you people out.. at least one of ya's.
P.S. - I will be taking time out of my days.. for the next few days.. to take the time and write my very own grow guide. It's mainly going to contain the basics behind growing.. and will be aimed at the 'new growers'. Or, as alot of you refer them as being.. "Newbies; Noobs; Noobie" or what have you. I'll be posting it as soon as its done.. thanks for your time! Peace
