The sides of my fan leaves all over the plant are curling up or lipping. Even the new growth has curled tips. I originally thought I needed new bulbs so I changed them out for new ones. Then someone suggested it may be a heat issue so I lowered my plant by 12 inches and the problem only got worse. I don't know what to do from here any help would be appreciated. +rep

I have 12 plants 20 inches below 2 250 watt metal halides. Above them is a fan and right next to the plant there is a fan.
The temp. does not get above 83 degrees.
They are planted in either a 1 gallon or 2 gallon bag and all are approximately 12 inches tall and bushy.
They are planted in a foxfarm soil mixture and have been water with R/O water and nutes.
The nutes are Cal-Mag plus, Pure Blend Pro grow, and Liquid Karma.

I watered other plants with the same water and nothing happened to them, but I can check some run off water right now and will post back in a min.

thats not bad. I keep mine a little lower. How many ml's of nutrient are you mixing per gallon?
when you water is your pot light? or heavy? how wet is the soil when you water? how often do you water? have you ever flushed? how is the air circulation is there any fresh air being blow into the room?

in one of the pictures it look like you have moisture on some of the lower leaves. how high is your humidity? It looks like poor air circulation or not enough light but if you switched out the bulb you should be gud. how old is the ballast how many crops ran on it

I follow the directions for the cal-mag and Pure Blend pro, and use 1 Tbls per gallon of liquid karma.
I have a moister meter I use to see when the soil is completely out of water. I've only needed to water once every weeks so far with such big containers. I also foliar feed that's where the dew came from on the bottom leaves. There is plenty of fresh air being blown in constantly at a cool temp. approx. 65-60 degrees.
As for the ballasts one hasn't been used yet and the other only for one cycle.
I'm thinking about switching to one 400 watt instead but I really like the idea of the crossing light from two lights.

1 table spoon per gallon is wayyy to much. only use half or less than half of what the bottle says. I only use 2ml per gallon sumtimes even less than that. You might do better switching to a 400 but I think its the spray your using. dont spray them. see if that fixes your problem
