4 plants, 1300W in a 4'x8' Tent, My First Grow

So this is April 11, i got my starters about a week ago.
I have two strains going, i got a big headstart after setting my tent up and got 4 plants that a friend had started in 16oz cups, they were already over a foot tall. actually one was bigger and had been neglected off to the side of the lights for a while and needed some trimming. I had to drive them all day and gave them all a day of not very good light, 24 hours max and i think they all survived ok. it took them a couple days to start looking healthy and they have been growing since, about a week and a half now.

Here they are when i got home after the 24hrs between being in good light:

And this is my tent set up, i have 2 600 W lights, CO2, an oscillating fan. I am vegging 20/4 now with both 600s on, and a little 100w fluorescent:

So, I have 3 of this type, this is the biggest of them and i pulled the bottom branches down yesterday morning after transplanting them into the big tubs.

I have no idea what it is sativa-indica-wise and dont know much about that stuff yet, so if anybody has any ideas, feel free to leave your thoughts. I smoked some from earlier crops and it tasted good. I have been learning so much in the last 2 months about weed. And I am glad i started in soil because it seems like there has been plenty to figure it out without getting into hydroponics and aeroponics. Was thinking of maybe switching over to aeroponics after a grow or two or whenever the rest feels easy. Plus i like to be able to leave for a few days at a time or hopefully a week so thats why i went with soil now. The final part of my decision is that i could grow taller with soil because the plant is closer to the ground, but i dont even know if that is correct. My tent is only 7'tall. At this point I dont even know if i will ever raise my lights all the way up. I still dont know shit really, but im into it and trying to use as much common sense as i have. This forum has been a huge help, also those youtube videos, at least some of them.

Here is the plant that was off to the side, the one that is a different variety, maybe carmelicious(this is 10 days ago when i got it):

and it has cleaned up, this is now:

And then the final part of my setup so far is i have some clones and seedlings going. The clones are in an aerocloner, i have about 15 in there, for a couple days now and are from the Carmelicious. Then I have 4 unsexed Super Skunk babys in the keg cups that are about 1 1/2 inches tall. And then 4 seedlings are in a humidity tray, unsexed Kali mist and Bubblicious feminized. This is a ghetto set up for now, working on a plan for this to be easier to work on and light proof for the future. For now i want to be set up with plants for when the first batch is done, prob july sometime. I have a lot of unused space in the tent that i dont want next time.

Since i only have the 4 plants i have been trying to stretch them out to take up all the light they can, I wish i had more plants in there and have been trying to figure out whether to grow these 4 plants a couple weeks and switch to flower, or the latest idea is to keep growing the 4 plants growing another month and a half, or however long the seedlings take to get big enough and then flower everything together. I am not sure what makes more sense. By sense i mean more weed of course. I could put the bigger plants on the perimeter and the little ones in the middle maybe. For right now I am running both 600s and the big florescent fixture just to give everything a good trial run etc. I could prob get the same result from 1 600 and have the seedlings in there too since the tent is vegging, i dont know. I thought maybe i could get the plants bigger with both 600s angled in at them, any truth in that?
Im super new to all this so if anybody sees anything im doing wrong id sure appreciate any input. And i have really appreciated all your info that you all have put on here. Scott

Yeah your setup look sreally nice, and remember that your plants will probably stretch to 3 times their size .. so it might be time to put them to flower before thgey get too big.

3 times? they say the general idea is they double in size not triple. mine have never even doubled. they gain like 50-100% their size pre-flower in my experience.

Yeah, Im not sure how long to let them grow. they are only about 18 inches so i was gonna go a while. with the two lights how long does anybody think it would be best to grow them?

You do not need to do anything to your lights your 4 plants in there are recieving as much light as they can possible handle (trust me) leave everything how it is and i would start to flower. Those things are going to get pretty damn big. You dont want to keep those going and put the other ones in there because the bigger ones will def block the light of the smaller ones once you start flowering. Flower those babies know you will be happy with the outcome and the yeild there big already

Yeah, it gets the humidity up to about 50% if its on full, and puts just under 1 gallon into the air in 24hrs. the humidity is in the twenties with out it. I did take it out since i switched to flower yesterday but thought it would be advantageous during growth.
I was planning on using it in the growth tent when i get that set up, as the tent in the picture should be just for flowering from now on.
