Autoflower Guerilla Grow
The Place:
Ok everyone. I am in the begining stages of my 3rd outdoor guerilla grow. This time the area being used to grow is an open plot of land next to our property. It has a few big oak trees on it and plenty of cover. My only concern would be if the lot needs to be cleared mid summer for fire code. This lot has several large oak trees, and a tree line (smaller pepper trees and such) set off to the back of the property. As I see it the only chance of detection is if the lot needs to be cleared later this year for fire code. I kinda doubt that will happen seeing that there isnt much to clear other than the oak trees (4 huge ones) and a bushy tree line set to the back of the lot (which does not need to be cleared for code, especially the 100 yr old plus oak trees there.). But there is a small chance. I will germinate the seeds using an AEROGARDEN VEGGIEPRO, and just for fun Ill grow a few in the aerogarden just to see how well it can grow dwarf weed.
The Seeds:
10 reg. seeds Lowryder Diesel Ryder (from the attitude seed bank)
10 Fem Green-o-Matic Autoflowering (also from the attitude)
Free with my order:
1 Reserva Privada Cole Train FEM
1 DNA Genetics Sharksbreath FEM
1 DNA Genetics Lemon Skunk FEM
1 DNA Genetics Rocklock FEM
The Attitude seed bank in my experience is one of the best. Super fast shipping, very stealth, Excellent quality, HUGE SELECTION... And.... FREEEBIES!!
I plan on planting most if not all the autoflower strains I received and one of the non-flowering strains.
The NUTES and Soil:
Over the years of observing growers in oregon perfect their crop yields and quality I have created a special mix I like to use. Nothing out of the ordinary, but is my personal choice:
Soil:
Organic Compost/Potting soil (doesnt matter much on brand - No added nutes)
Vermaculite
Coconut Husk
Bat Guano 10-3-1
Hydroton clay growing beads 9mm-15mm
** Optional ** Dolomite Lime (to regulate the ph)
Mix equal parts coconut husk, organic potting soil, and a tiny handful of hydroton beads. Adding the recommended amount of bat guano and vermaculite. Mix again...toss like a ceaser salad. Approx a 1 1/2 inch layer of hydroton clay beads go on the bottom of each 1 gal pot (for drainage).
Nutes:
Holland Secret 3 Stage Nutrient System- Grow, Micro Nutes, Bloom (seen here: http://www.progressive-growth.com/hydroponic_recipe-holland_secret_bada_series.php)
I am considering getting the others, like the Carb load, foliar spray, Green Boost, or Bloom Boost. If anything Ill get the bud Booster.
The Set Up:
I would take pictures but im a bit paranoid about getting pinched... so use your imagination. once I have these lil angels growing ill take some pictures.
PVC Pipe
PVC Elbow joints
Fine wire mesh
Shade fabric (blocks heat not light quailty)
4- 1 gal black pots
1- Can of dark brown spray paint, satin finish (no gloss!)
We have lots of field rabbits and mice throughout the area, so an enclosure is needed to protect the crops. I constructed a rectangle box using the PVC pipe and elbow joints. 16" wide by 24" tall. Wrapped each side with the wire mesh. Spray painted the whole thing with the dark brown spray paint for camo. The PVC and shade cloth were both lighter colors (white and light brown) that could be seen from the air and could be spotted if anyone happend to pass by in the area. After the spray paint and some short walls made of plant debris to cover the grow site from view were done, you cant see a thing until you damn near walk right over it. Also i will use mothballs and urine to distract any wildlife from visiting the grow area, plus i will make up an organic insecticide to keep the buggys off.
Germination:
