hey all, gonna give a brief update to catch up first.
Umm where to start, basically i wanted to try out this whole aeroponics thing... so i did.
I had a God Bud mother plant that i grew out and was the final pick of the 6 seeds i germinated. She was running on a drip system that i had going on in a 2x4 grow tent.
Long story short, i stopped using distilled and started using tap water. The mother plant started dying from the bottom up, sooooo i had to cut some clones of quick (i couldnt figure out why the plant was dying and couldnt put 2 and 2 together and figure out it was cuz i started using my terrible city water).
so i whipped up an aerocloner quick and cut some clones.
Mother ended up dying and clones were doing great (of course they were doing great... clones love tap water).
ok so now i have these babies sitting in an aerocloner, getting bigger and bigger.
A few weeks earlier i came up with and idea on how i am going to build my aeroponics system so i whipped something up on my computer (good thing computer graphics is my Other hobbie). I started building it, then i had this problem with the mother plant so i had to put a pause on that. So i had the frame of this aeroponics idea i came up with already started from before this whole tap water problem started.
Ok so clones are cut and i have some of a aeroponics system started... ok gotta finish it quick. So i put this together over the next week or so, and threw in a 4x4 grow tent.
(temporary wiring untill i mount my cycle timer on the board)
Ok everything is good now i can relax... nope the problem i had with the mother plant is starting to happen to my clones, couldnt figure it out.... then it just clicked in... THE WATER!... i have bad water where i am and it was causing magnesium/calcium def's. So i went out and got my self a 5 stage R/O system. Did a rez change and within a couple of days the plants were looking better and growing like mad.
Sweet.. ok everything is going nice a smooth now.... BAM a week later my pump failed and my plants didnt get any water for about 12 hours, and it just happened to be really warm that day and the room temp jumped to about 34 degrees (celcius). so i thought my plants were gonners for sure, they looked way too bad to come back to life. I replaced the pump right away and within about a week and a half they were looking healthier then ever.
sooo.....
