**Nirvana's Feminized White Widow CFL Grow**

yeaa it does resemble it.. alot more than i thought it would. =) and yeaa im usin nutes. not anything good tho. not like fox farm or anything like that. im uising just sum cheap nutes from home depot.. its Schultz - All Purpose Plant Food. the NPK ratings are 10-15-10. It only costs a few bucks.. but its deff gettin the job done! lol

And yeaa, I am actually pretty chocked how good it came out with just CFL's! The buds are nice and solid.. Dude... the Siamese Bud is fucking SOLID!! Its like as hard as a rock! i never really squeezed it b4 cuz it was covered with all white hairs.. adn i didnt wanna fuck with the hairs.. but now therye turnin.. soo i gave it a lil squeeze. adn its madd hard. that things gonn ahave some weight to it!!

And i am SURE you will have plenty of beautiful buds man! especially if urusing a screen. i wouldnt be surprised if u end up with more buds than me. =)

Helll Yeaaa!! I would be happy with 49 grams! =) that would be nice.. yeaa im hopn for at least an ounce... i will be happy with an ounce.. any more if just a bonus. =):

Yea, they are pretty solid. like every1 else said.. usualyl CFL's produce "airy" "loose" buds.. but where I have sooo many.. it makes the buds tight. =)

actually... now that I think of it.. I bought mine from Walgreens! lol. Places like that would probly have it to.. CVS.. Family Dollar... Walgreens.. etc.. but Wal-Mart adn Lowes and Home Depot should too.

They also have a Miracle Grow All Purpose Plant Food too that I was gonna use.. but then I found the Schultz.. soo i just used it.

And not having a smell is great! lol It's really wierd tho.. cuz I was goin through this otha kids journal (the one I posted in your thread.. the White Widow grow)) and he kept talkin about how stinky his plant was.. and how he couldnt imagine growing 3-4 plants.. and how it would stink up the whole house....? and he got his White Widow from Nirvana.. soo its the SAME exact strain...?

Idk.. maybe it is the Ionizer...? Mine is madd old..a dn missin a couple pieces.. lol. the filter is probly NASTY!! haha. I think its wierd tho.. that even when I go up to the plant.. when its out of my closet.. adn smell... theres STILL not really a smell at all. theres a little smell.. but it doesnt smell like weed...? Wierd.....

Ooo yea. My Buddy SL2 sent me a Flushing Schedule.. he used it on his White Widow and said the buds smopke really really smooth. Soo im gonna start tha today. =)


And yup. I cant wait to harvest either!! =D LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GO!!!! =) Cant FUCKING wait!! I am already surprised at what a good job these CFL's did for me! Its un-believable! Just goes to show you what you can do with some determination.. and no money.. hahaha..

I started off with only a few 100 watt CFL's.. then got a few more.. then started to buy 1 120 watt CFL a week..a dn swapping the 100 watters out with that.. then eventually had all 120 watters.. then starting buying more Clamp Lights and puting the CFL's in there.. adn just kept adding more and more.. and then found the 150 watt CFL's.. and bought like 6 of them.. lol And I found 300 watters at Lowes.. but theyre like $16 each... =/ But I would like ot eventually upgrade to those.... or maybe i'll just upgrade to trhe 400 HPS instead? whoo knowss.

And Yeaaa. FIST PUMP for the CFL's!!

Ok guys.. I'm gonna try using some molasses too during my Flush.. I got a schedule from SL2.. and I'm gonna give it a try.. And Audi,, u should try using some too! I'll check and see if i can find sum sort of schedule for you.. but ALOT of people say its greta to use it during the flowerign phase.. somethign like 1 teaspoon per 1-2 gallons of water..? I guess it helps breakdown nutes.. and the buds love it.. and can even help increase your yield as well?? something u might wanna try man.. u can google it and probably find out how much to use.. adn search on here./. i bet you can find it. just wanted to let ya know... weneva i find out sum good info.. i like to try to share it with every1.

And yea you should be able to start seedlings with that.. as long as ur only doing 1 seed of each strain.. which would be 4 plants.

They will probably take a while to grow tho.. Not too long.. but maybe like an extra week or 2 at the most.. meaning a normal seedling that has proper light will be the same size at 3 weeks.. as yours will be at like 5 weeks...

Thats just an estimate.. not sure EXACTLY how much bigger.. but if you can.. get some more light.. but if not.. you can START them using that CFL.... but you wont get much further than 2-3 weeks i would think.. i could be wrong.. but thats my opinion..

once they get to a certain size.. theyre gonna need more light.. soo u should jsut keep them under the CFL until u start noticing that their growth has started to slow.. then put them outside. =)

Yeaaaa, if you can get a few more you'll be good! And heyy... w.e. works. lol. some people have them in lil mini-fridges.. as long as it doesnt get too hot in there you should be fine.

And that sucks about the blackberry.. =/ i wanted to try growin that.. but i would have to do it indoors.. sooo idk how that would be.. cuz its an out-door plant.. soo i feel like i would have a hard time keeping the size down..

I wanna see how ur Mystery Seed does too.. i started growing that.. but it was 3 weeks into flower.. and was barely showing anything.. soo i kille dit off.. didnt have enough light on it anywayz. =/

Most deffentley will you like pictures and I love taking them. All of the mystery sprouted and the kana. Ill give them another week then if nothing happens ill get in touch with nervana. Heard they had cool coustmer service. Hell I don't have aneyone I can show aneyway. So ill keep you informed as best as I can.

Its kickin my ass lol But anyway I just got down takin a walk through the musem and she is lookin tasty!!! Wow is it just me or do the buds look white!!?!!?!! Damn that cola in the back is humungous! lol Dont even reply to this dumb post, this is just me thinkin outloud. Its good to see shes still thrivin and everything is good. Yeaa 3 weeks seems good enough to me. =) She's a good size. So has she shown sex yet?? Yeaa, if she is going to stink.. it should probably start smellin strong around week 5ish.

I've heard Seedsman White Widow is good too. =)

And for nutes.. I am using some cheap nutes.. You can get it at Wal-Mart.. Home Depot.. or Lowes.. its Schultz All Purpose Plant Food. NPK is 10-15-10. its like $5 for a good sized bottle too. If you look back 1 or 2 pages.. sum1 asked me the same exact question.. adn i posted a link to the product itself.. soo u can see what it looks like.

Heyy watsup Man.. yeaa long time no see.. well no talk. lol. Sorry to hear bout the pollen.. =/ thankfully.. I have NO allergies at all.. soo pollin doesnt bother me.. unless its coming from my plant... then it REALLY bothers me.. lol

And yeaaaa.. the buds are covered in crystals! lol. Which makes them look whiteish.. it has alot to do with the camera flash tho too.. in person they dont look as white... they look like normal buds. lol.

Yeaa the cola is filling out NCIELY!! Noticed that theres a few buds thats stick out a little more than others.. lol. soo it kinda looks funny. And alot of the white hairs on the main cola are turning red now.. soo its like 1/2 and 1/2 now. Cuz for a while.. te main cola had like.. all white hairs.. adn all the lower buds were covered in red hairs.

The bottom buds are deff maturing MUCH faster than the main cola and a couple other buds.

Not sure if u read my last few post.. but I began flushing yesterday!! =D sooo 2 weeks to go!! And if the main cola doesnt look ready within 2 weeks... im gonna leave it attached. thats wat my plant is once Harvest Day comes! =) Just gonna check everything.. and w.e. buds dont look ready.. ill leave them on the plant.. and w.e. ones DO look ready.. I'll harvest. =)

I think most of them will be ready tho.. the only one I'm worried about is the main cola.. and theres 1 other bud that still has a lot of white hairs... but alot can happen in 2 weeks! lol. I was just going through the pics i posted in the picture album.. and I was comparing the pics from Week 5 to Week 7.. and ALOT had changed.. Soooo i can only imagine how much different the buds will look in another 2 weeks.

Ok Guys.. More pics. =) I made a new email and a new photobcuket acct. so i cant upload more pics. lol. They wanted me to pay to get more bandwidth.... fuckkk thattt! lol.

Ok. I cut a couple leaves off.. to check the trichs. I used my lil sisters microscope.. its like 100x i think?? anywayz.. i checked them... AND THERES A BUNCH OF AMBER TRICHS!!

I looked at 1 spot... theres was about 10 trichs..a dn 5 of them were amber!! thank go di decided to flush when i did!! i only cut off a couple leaves to check.. and i think the leaves get the amber trichs.. adn then they move onto the bud... at least thats wat im hoping!! =/ Sooo i "Might" have to harvest a few of the branches a little early... depending on how they look after a week or so... i just dont wanna harbest any too late ya know??

I just noticed that you cut off all the larger fan leaves. When did you do that? I have often thought about doing it but I figured it was a bad idea but with my CH the leaves are so fat and big there is practically no light other than the very top and the lower branches keep trying to grow straight up instead of horizontally and than up where they could get light. I really wish I had better light penetration and side lighting like you it's amazing how fat yours is. Anyways good job!

didn't have time to read the whole thread, how many watts of cfl was this? i think you mentioned cfl

so cutting in about 10 days? that could be good, it's always a tough call on the first run of given strain
all the leaf is pretty green, you could probably take them even further
but a lot depends on what you see through your scope
definitely a +rep grow, then some!

Thanks man! yeaa i have a 30x magnifier i bought from radioshack.. but its just hard to keep it steady enough to see anything.. soo i was using my sister microscope.. adn just cut leaves off adn checked the trichs.. adn thats how i could tell they were amber.

And wen u do get a camera.. make sure it has MACRO!! Without that.. u cant take close-ups.

Yeaa, I cut them off on Tuesday.. i just said fuck it.. i still have a lot of smaller leaves.. soo im just gonna cut off EVERY SINGLE big one..a dn let the light penetrate the buds more.

I was havin the same problem... leaves were completely covering some buds.. adn i felt bad. but soo far i dont see anything bad happening due to cutting off the leaves.. if anything.. it helped i think?

you know what you can do... if u dont want to CUT the leaves off... get some string.. or twisty ties.. and tie the leaves so that they're out of ur way. I dod that before I cute them.. i would just tie them to the main stem.

and right now.. i have 330 watts of CFL's. I started off with more like 220ish.. but i got a few more once i got a little further into flowering.

And yeaaa.. ive been debating wether or not to cut it down.. but i looked over it today.. and cut a few pieces off that we covered with trichs... adn i saw LOTS of amber trichs.. and i still have about a week 1/2 to go. i only want about 30% amber... i was thinking i might have to harvest most of the plant in 10 days.. adn maybe harvest the main cola a few days later?? not 100% sure yet.. but a lot can happen in 10 days. soo i'll just wait and see. if they dont look ready.. then i'll give them some more time.
