Lower temp or Light refraction?

Hello, I just finished the process of switching the lights to 12/12 and switched the bulb to HPS today. I am running the lights at night thus to lower the temp. However, I am trying to decide whether to leave the curtain open and keep a temp of 80 or close it so the light reflects off the mylar and have a temp of 88 to 90?

Depends on the strain. I know that satavia's can handle higher heat levels but indica can not. Ideal is around 72-75 but 80 you will be ok. Anything over that during the flower cycle can be detrimental to the plants.

Looks to me that you need a fan or two. Get one inside the tent to move the hot/stale air out and around. This will help temps. Nothing big like 5 or 6 degrees but it'll help.

I really don't have any exhaust system. I am running that dryer vent from the window shaker into the closet and a box fan on the floor. The strain is Ice cream Indica/Sativa(60/40). I just want to keep it closed so the buds can get as much light as possible. People have told me to get an inline fan, but I really have no more money to invest. Any advice?
