I think that would depend on if the "sender" is caught. It's obvious where the package is going, we know who the "reviver/receiver" is, but not necessarily who sent it. uhmm.....good luck with your inquiry......BB

People get busted mailing even if they don't use real names or return addresses. The USPS/DEA/local police do have the capability to investigate drug shipping and they do it routinely. Stories of arrests are in the paper or news regularly if you are skeptical. There was a story here not too long ago about someone busted using UPS (not even the postal service).
Just saying, be safe - not putting a return address isn't some sort of guarantee for safety. And in fact, may make your package more likely to be inspected (no return addy/fake return addy).

well, im not saying that i have done it, but if i were to ship it i would use a different name everytime and just put the return address to an abondoned lot or something to that effect.

I get a package every week without fail. My buddy works at fedex and they only check for drugs if it looks like there are drugs in it. That is so vague that it really doesn't happen. Just over night it and you'll be fine in plain packaging. Or het a friend who unloads trucks like me to be xtra safe =p

plus, the person who is on the receiver end will probably give extra info that would be helpful to law enforcement of who and why they receive the package of goodies that they did not know about!!!

Agree for the most part (95%)...However, local enforcement do not have the juristriction to investigate these crimes once they figure out that they don't have the juristrictions and powers to further investigate... then they will call in federal agencies such as the DEA and etc....Postal crime is under the Federal Government juristrictions.. Local enforcement can and will investigate while the crime is being detected in their juristriction which is state, city and etc.... when they figure out the crime (postal), then proper authorities with certain juristrictions and powers will join or overtake the investigation..
