cfl heat issuses would T12 or T8 work just as well

You must have a shit load of cfls and no ventilation. If you can afford it get a t5 but the 8 or 12 would give you about the same results granted the wattage is close to the same.

Well mh is well kmown to be better than cfls. Why not use both if the heat is not from lights. I guess you will need to come up with a better cooling system in that hot ass attic. I live in FL and could not imagine how hot my attic is. Sorry I cant help more but good luck man.

you either need to move your grow out of your attic or really revamp the ventilation
your plants will cook in normal attic summer temps, or spring temps for that matter
