dehydration vs. chlorine remover

:wall:s up growers. I have a problem and need your help. I am growing organic so I am following a no chemical rule. I have been very busy lately and forgot to set out my water for my plants(letting the chlorine evaporate). Now my plants are THIRSTY, in fact I probably should have watered yesterday. I do have chlorine remover from the pet store but heard its not good to use at all much less organic grows. So here's the question; which is worse. Water starvation or chlorine remover with fresh water?

If you're that worried about chlorine go buy some bottled water and use that til yours is ready.

invest in a rain barrel (easy to make) if you have the room to do so.
I make the recommendation only because,
I'm guessing if you are using 20 gallons of water this isn't an apt grow.
Actually with that much water you probably are going to need 2 of them.
I just put mine out a few weeks ago and off a pretty small roof (6x8 )
it's been keeping about 15 plus gallons in it with me drawing off it.

if your tap water sucks you can hit wall mart and get a 5 gallon of RO water from there culligan machine. its like 7-8 bucks the first time for the container and then like 37 cents a gallon for refills. look for the quality card that will tell you the ppm of the tds at last testing. my store stays around 22-24 ppm and my plants love the water. you can then give them a good flush and not worry about accidently locking anything out with bad ph in tap water.

+1 for RO water, I do the same, and if you don't have money for the 5 gal jugs you can buy 1 gal jugs at meijer for 30 cents, and their water is 29 cents a gal, not that 8 cents matters :)
