Hi Yada,
I like to veg under metal halides as yes they are blue and the plants love it... But yes they can get hot, but we're heading into winter here so heats not going to be an issue... I flower under High Pressure Sodiums... They are just unreal...
I only use MH cause the plants flourish under it during in the VEG cycle.. It helps me kick my mothers on before and after I take cuttings... Otherwise, just to keep my mums alive, they live under a day propagation flouro 220watt.. I just reconfigured my mother cupboard, its on the last page of my journal, have a look..

Through neccesity I've been forced 2 re-invent myself.. Just got back from our favourite Ebay seller wit all my bits n bobs. It will basically b just a little flower box. Nothing big, proli fit 4 plants, a 600W HPS & aim 4 a pound per harvest.

Yeah, Kmoo I'm glad you told me you used Swell... Ive always wanted to ask questions....Is it just fake weight??? I always thought that products like Rock and Swell make the pot burn funny so you can't pull it thru the cone properly, it leaves ash in the cone every time... Can you please share your experience?

well i've only used it on the one girl so far but as soon as i started using it the buds really thrived, ended up with almost double the weight i got off the same strain, same height plant about a month earlier - the quality of the smoke is very enjoyable, i only stopped nutes on her a week before the cut - now i haven't used it enough to absolutely swear by it - but if she works like that consistently i'll be a happy camper. my current seedlings are gonna get the cyco platinum series as per their own feed chart - it's gonna be a bit of an experimental grow for me, will be trying different things on the blueberry in particular seeing what works best for me

it's not artificially plumped as it were - i mean shit, it's hydroponics lol we are the sun, we are the food, we are the water - the whole thing is effectively artificial. we add nutrients the whole way through and that's what swell is, another additive to get the best out of our plants

yeah, like ozponics too. cheap as. well, will look at swell but...see what you're saying about hydro but there's a point at which we stop mimicking nature and start turning the plants and ourselves into somthing supernatural...

OKi made my veg 4 plant thingy
its a drip/dwc system cost me $50 i had the pump and the buckets and the 400 hps floating around
this should work well hey ninja post your set up if ya get a sec
also there is some new photos of the big girls in veg
we are gonna flick em next Friday

God its been a long day here, the six year old has the shits because of a playstation 2 game, and the two year old is putting chocolate over everything....Ah the joys of motherhood... The six year old goes back to school for four days and then two weeks off... Its welcome to hell fortnight...
