I love experimenting, and I have decided to take a chance on one plant, and one plant only.
Most of the old school, well seasoned farmers out there know its not a good idea to put this and that into our buckets, or reservoirs, or in soil that is completely unecessary.
Especially, all them "Snake oil additives"
I dont even like adding ph up/down..Makes me nervous as hell.
And some growers actually like the plant's ph to go up and down, so that all the nutes/micros get a chance to do their thing.
Ive mentioned this many times,
The best grows/highest yielding plants I have ever grown was by using Peters 20-20-20 chemical ferts. in soil, And Peters Blossom Booster in the flowering stage... with nothing else except for a lil' Superthrive during veg.
They were always phat as hell!
Almost 5 oz's a plant in soil!!!
Thats a terrific soil yield per plant
And that was DRY weight.
You may hear people getting a pound a plant and all that, dont believe em..it rarely happens, unless there growing 7 foot tree's outside.
And Im not going down for a bunch of pot tree's in my back yard.
Got too much to lose for that risk. Thats not my cup of tea.
Not worth it. No Thanks.
Cold handcuff's never turned me on.
I like to keep things ultra private under my roof.
In my case, They say Im legal because I have all the proper paperwork for medicinal use.
But who can you believe? Not Obama..Thats fer sure.
Anyways, The very first plant Ive ever grown was from cheap ass chemical ferts.
And that Girl made it in High Times magazine, and Cannabis Culture.
They even sent me a gift certificate.. heehee!
Truly amazing.. I was so proud of her! Just Peters Fert, No ph up or down, or anything else.
Ever since Peters sold out, Ive never been able to achieve the same health or yield.
It sux, but its true.
I thought the dwc bubbler thing would surpass anything Ive done in the past.. But, so far... Nope.
I think I did alright with the fox farms, but honestly, Iam not 100% pleased by the results.
All that "shit" I dumped in them buckets couldn't have done my plants any good.
Too much adding this and that, and lots of ph up/down, Yada Yada yada..
And can you imagine how much I spent on Fox Farm Nutes.. The full line!?
Gotta remember I have 11 buckets running at the same time... And soon will be 15 at any given time!
After a while, I found out that Fox Farms nutes are unstable.. Thats my thoughts for that product.
And it made my experimental soil plants too green..didnt burn em a bit, but dark green?
I followed their feeding schedule religiously too...Oh well.
And the big bloom made my roots an off white color. Pissed me off.
Ridiculous to say the least.
Bottom line= I FUCKIN' HATE ORGANICS!!! Im not a tree hugger!!!
I tried to convice myself for years that organics is the only way to go.. But, who am I kidding? Its just not for me.
In my honest opinion, Organics DOES NOT yield as much as Chemicals. I "finally" got it through my thick Head!!!
Im a chemical guy.. and thats that.
Growing Mj from chemical's is not bad.. You either flush it out, or you dry the buds fully, and cure em for a decent while.
The taste has always been excellant over here.
My friends bother the fuck outta me.. Must be doing something right.
I wanna keep growing Mj as simple/cheap as possible.
This guy is kinda like my role model.
He makes it look too easy. He's claiming to get nearly 6.6 oz's a plant with just a lil tweaking.>>

I like his style..Less is more...Simplicity.
Anyways, I will be using the Lucas Formula, 0-8-16, with nothing else til I harvest this plant.
I will only top off the bucket with plain jane tap water, until the nute change.
No addback.. nodda.
I will change out the nutes every 2 weeks, and will add nothing but tap water from here on out.
Ive picked out a very healthy Glass Slipper plant in veg for this experiment.
My water here in the hills is decent.
It registers at 50ppm, and the ph is 6.5..
No need for distilled water, or a RO Setup.
So, lets give this experiment a try, shall we??
GH Flora series nutes.. Just Micro, and Bloom, and that is ALL!
A VERY low cost bucket grow.
GH nutes are very inexpensive.. Possibly the cheapest you can buy for hydro
Lets begin the experiment..
First of all, I dumped out the nutes.
I added 3 gallons of water to my 3 1/2 gallon veg buckets.
Added 24 ml of Micro, And 48ml of Bloom.
I hooked up my tri-meter, and it will tell us the ph, ppm, and res temp throughout this experiment.
Ok, Readings are:
1140 ppm
5.3 on the ph
67F nute temp.
Ill take readings everyday and post.
This should be exciting, and possibly the cheapest dwc bucket grow ever!
Who knows, May be the highest yielding plant outta the bunch!!
Never know..
Weird things happen.
