I see some people here paying on fucked up scales that charge something up to 300% of what they paid before and things like that. Some people paying $0.25/KWh and such.
Just wondering what everyone is paying for electric.

Where I am, $0.059/KWh flat rate, locked in to 2012.

Wow. I'm jealous. I'm currently paying $.25 kWh flat rate due to renting a place that doesn't have its own address. Previously it started at $.13 kWh and climbed as high as $.68 kWh running 3 1000w lights.

Power costs definately depend on your area. My family in the south pays nothing for power because they are used to air conditioning year round. Here in California however they are stingey as hell and if you use more than they deem necessary you pay a high penalty. I have a retarded friend paying damn close to or over $1.00 kWh. (I keep telling him he needs to rent a commercial property)

Crazy shit man. I turn off things when I am not using them but my computer would cost me a fortune to run 27/7 at those prices!

Along the Gulf Coast where I grow, the price per KW hour is .046 ,,,but add in the fuel adj charge and other bull shit charges it total up to .082

Last month I used 2950 KWh for the month and my total bill was just under $250.00 for the month. That is for total electrical consumption for a 2 story house w/ a hot tub and 6 x 600w digi ballasts on 12/12 and 1 x 400w & 12 x 23w cfls on 24/7, a dehumidifier and a 10 btu portable a/c and misc fans and pump.

I used to bitch about my electric bill untill I seen what others are paying.
