One of the loveliest plants to grow in terms of pure aesthetics. She is by far one of my faves.
From my grow logs, here are some things I recorded:
Veg (from clone):
1) Definitely a Indica dominant and does not grow very tall, stays thick and bushy with strong stem development.
2) Dark green leaves in the foliage with massive fan leaves while vegging.
3) Strong nitrogen rich nutrient feeding was accepted with no noticeable nutrient burn or leaf discoloration (veg)
4) Minor powedery mildew noticed on lower foilage - applied Serenade (likely due to high RH).
Bloom
1) Used one last high Nitrogen feeding regiment for first week of flowering
2) First couple of weeks of flowering added about 40% additional height
3) Bud development noticed after 3 weeks
4) Plant is able to handle moderate to strong bloom nutirent regimen, no noticeable leaf discoloration.
5) Trichome development noted about 4 weeks into cycle
6) Fan leaves began to turn yellow (plant entering last stages of it reproductive cycle) 6 weeks into flowering.
7) Massive trichome development and bud enlargement at weeks 6-8. Switched over to flushing regiment at week 7.
Bud maturity at 8-9 weeks.
Notes:
ph on soil - 6.8
RH - 40%
Light Cycle (bloom) 12/12 - 1000w HPS
Air: strong air flow, recirculating with moderate exhaust
Temp: 85F (light) and 69F (dark)
Nutrients: Organic mix (Earthjuice)
Soil: 3 part organix mix with 1:4 perelite
And for the pics (week 6 into flowering)
Good luck!
