Need some help with purchasing some T-5 veg lights

Hey guys

I'm going to be vegging some girls on a 3 tier shelf. Each tier has 2 feet of space between and I want to hang some T-5 lights from the bottom of each shelf and put 3 or 4 girls under them.

The shelf itself is 7 feet tall and 1 foot wide. I'm not sure if I should get the 4 foot long or the 3 footer. Not sure if they make 3' long T-5's tho.

I need to do this because of space issues.

What would be a good way to go in purchasing a decent setup? I would need 3 separate systems for each shelf. Not looking for real cheap but I would like to save a little $$.

I guess I would need something to cover a 4 foot long by 1 foot wide shelf.

Anyone know what is good and what I would need? How many watts would I need to cover 4 plants on a 4' x 1' shelf?

i got my t-5's at menards,ive got 4- 22 inch for clones & 8 - 46 inch for veg.u can get them at any store like that.the only thing is that some of them are irregular sizes,like 22 -46 24 -48 are more popular.

Hey thanks for an idea bro. This is what I was looking for. But I would have liked more info on the high bays and what I could use.

I was going to give you a step by step process on how easily you can go fuck yourself, but I decided against it. I figure you have gone thru this process quite a bit in your life and wouldn't need any instructions

well seriously ur first question was how to go about purchasing the lights and i answered. your second question is answered in one of the stickies and could easily be found using rollitup search bar or google. correct me if im mistaken but i was under the impression was that we are supposed to search for an answer first before starting a new thread asking the same question people have asked a million times. i expect more coming from someone with as high a post count as you. now if you want to take it personally then fine i dont care. you arnt hurting my feelings. best of luck with your purchase but please so many good threads get buried because of all the repeat and unecesary questions.
