yep, Clonex is a good one. But to be honest tam you can just stick a cutting straight into a glass of water and it will still root! Takes ages but they still root About 2 weeks is average mate, my Mazar took 3 weeks,longest so far. Its strain dependent, Skunk Special for example rooted in 10 -12 days! I think the SW will be a faster rooter, looks very strong, no drooping always a good sign.

How s the plants looking this am tam? Could have just been pre lights off drooping, happens sometimes,had you watered them? Let us know how they look today? probably perked right up again?

the clonex turned up today so i pulled the cuttings out re cut and dipped in the clonex gel, the ends didnt look very good and were dry im sure the clonex will do the trick. all the cuttings are still looking perfectly good no drooping and still lush and green.

the lights went off at 6am so cant check them until 6pm this evening as soon as i can i will update again with some pics.

Try to keep moisture around the stems tam,but at the same time you dont want them too wet! The Jiffy plugs are good for 10p each mate (for future), hold just the right amount of moisture. Root riots are good too. I'm in about 75% perlite with mine. Dont worry mate, give them enough time and they root

right i thought its about time for an update

plants were looking abit better today with the mutant being the best, i will check them 5 hours and gonna hope they look better.

they all had 800ml of water each with the usual nutes, oh and some mollases added this time

the nodes are very very tight on all of the ladys which im happy with and it seems that the stretching is over now, nothing like my ak48's they went mad !!!!

first pic is a groupshot and the rest are pics of the mutant, the batterys ran out so will get some individual pics of the other two in a bit

mine are at the same stage, (although the 2 sativas are taking longer as they do) things are going to get pretty sexy in the next couple of weeks. i love cloning, im building a area at the mo for a couple of mothers and some clones under a cfl light.

Show her the pics in my new thread mate, those cabs are in our bedroom! My mrs dont smoke, or hardly ever, but she believes in the rights of us to be able to do this...... (phew)..... no CF means we get a lovely smell in the room some nights "Like fresh pine" she says .... but domestic harmony comes first

ok guys i am feeling happy!!!! i showed the missus your grow boxes and shes gonna let me go stealth styleee in our bedroom

im gonna start constructing the flower box this week.

im going to buy a cooltube (or DIY one myself ) and continue using my 250w hps kit

this means i am never goint to have to battle the cold ever again

first is a group shot and then the other two that i missed the otherday, and then a pic of some ganja that is getting us very nicely stoned at the minute

hello again people

i have been busy tonight building my new cab which shall be living in my bedroom

a trip to B&Q and a bit of sweat i have come up with this. still got get the parts to make a diy cooltube and mount the intake and exhaust and the cool tube fan and fine tune the front a bit and it will be done

now im stuck and need some help, at the moment my lights come come on at 6pm and go off again at 6am.

i need to change them to come on at 8am and go off 8pm but i dont want to piss of my plants what would be the best way to do that?

Glad you got to move the cab 'downstairs' mate.

Best way to shift the light cycle is always to simply extend the dark period, I've had to do it a couple of times and no harm done. 24 hours dark wont make any difference tam.

But that cab will look great. I just hope you can tame that 250HPS in there, cool tube idea sounds good... are you planning to use a glass heat screen or build a cool tube style unit?

Look forward to seeing the finished cab.

Hi MS cheers thats what i done, i gave them 24 hours light and all seems good.

right 2moro i have booked a day holiday to finish the box!! i think im gonna need 3 more toilet extraction fans so two exhausts and two inlets, if i shut the door now the temps shoot up to 98 !!!

so today i just left the door off and the temps were fine, so a busy day tomorrow setting it up, i might try a cool tube i dont know we will see. but it will all be done tomorrow

yippee ive finally got everything dialled in the temps are at low 80s with the fans at half speed

and the best thing is that there is no signs of drooping any more

i have removed the glass screen and fitted 4 toilet extractor fans!! 2 inlets 2 exhausts, i had to fit the speed controller as it sound like a helicoptor at full speed and i dont think the missus would be very impressed

so all is good still got to pop out and get some sealing strips and something to keep the door in place, i was thinking some velcro strips or magnetic strips.

here is the finished cab i am very very very happy so in aminute im gonna have a spliff and go out and do some gardening to keep her happy

Its funny, I moved my plants out of the room for a couple of nights while I stripped out my box for a re build and it was too quiet! Anyway, real glad you tamed that 250HPS in there, if temps get high you could just leave it open, we do all the time, just part of the routine, open up in the morning and close up at night, lowers the temps to about 72 that way, down from almost 80 (which isnt too bad anyway).

happy easter to you aswell mate, i know its a bit early but im nearly pissed lots of pear cider yummy,

the temps went up to 84.8 so i turned the fans up a bit and now they are at 81, is that ok?

now they dont have to put up with the cold they should pack on the weight a lot quicker

good morning everyone just a quick update and a few pics, my camera keeps playing up so im going out in a bit to buy a new one so later i will do a massive photo shoot

the plants are really far behind compared to a lot of other grow i see all the time but like i said that will all change from now on,

i also removed all the reflective stuff as it was heat insulating stuff for behind radiators which was prob making it hotter in there

i have been testing the temps in other places this morning, some places are as low as 77, i think i had the hygrometer to high, when i put it at the same hieght as the tops its 79-81 so i would say i have tamed the 250hps very well and the missus is still sleeping even with it on

i forgot to add that everyday i will swap the plants around so that they take turns at being directly under the lamp
