advanced nutrients is suppose to be the best but I don't think its worth it honestly. I think you can come close with normal nutrients and knowing how to read your strain.

I love it when people are like, oh AN is supposed to be the best, but it also sucks. What does that help anyone? LOL

I've found Advanced Nutrients to be pretty awesome from my experience.

Things just seem to go much more smoothly than when I use anything else. And I don't even know why. But at the same time, I don't really care.

My pH is better, the plants seem to grow quicker, the cycles are timed right, and the harvest is heavier.

I just like that they spend their time studying MJ and how the nutes work. That's class in my book.

So that would be my suggestion, but this is such a loaded question. You're sure to hear a dozen different answers.

Hope this helps you!

Canna is the best for COCO growing because of their Potassium
levels, coco holds a ton of potassium and non coco specific nutes
will cause lockouts and problems...

I use Humboldt Nutrients Master A&B, it is a premium amino chelated
nutrient, no EDTA's or excess salts, the guys who started Humboldt used
to work for Advanced, and Connoisseur A&B was their baby, but Advanced wouldn't
invest in the highest quality nutrients, (which is why you see EDTA's on the
ingredients) so they started Humboldt.... I have nothing but great results.

AN has the best nutrients. (so says everyone because of the AN nutrient challenge.) i also saw another nutrient challenge called "white trash nutrient challenge" by someone unbiased; he used FF AN and miracle grow. AN won. in AN's nutrient challenge, they use the connesuier line which is $35/liter for part A and $35/liter for part B. kinda expensive.

Im wondering if anyone can help i have run out of fox farm big bloom and i still have plenty of tiger bloom? Is there anything i can sub for the big bloom i cant find it anywhere and i dont wanna buy online i live in canada.

The AN guys come off as really sleazy used-car salesmen, IMO. That being said, I've never used their stuff so I can't comment on the performance. I can, however, comment on their nutrient challenge that's all over youtube. I think their biggest competitor is GH and in their challenge, they are missing half of their expert line. Maybe they weren't available back then but they're missing liquid kool bloom and kool bloom dry, floralicious plus, flora blend and flora nectar. I also find it interesting that they do not show you EXACTLY which AN nutes they're using.

Regardless of my personal impressions, I think any of the reputable nute companies will give you a stellar product but the trick is learning how/when to use them. Personally, I use botanicare in dirt and GH in hydro. I use 6x600hps and easily yield a pound per light per 2 months.
