Cool tube question?

400 watt hps 4''vent should i get a 6'' 435 cfm fan and convert it a 4'' or 171cfm fan that comes with a' 4 inch attachment on it already this is only going through a cooltube no air from the room will pass through it or a filter!

I use a 190 CFM FAN pulling thru a Sun Systems Air Cooled Hood and a Carbon Filter which exhausts the air outside my grow box.

It really sucks ! I needed a speed controller to slow it down.

to slow it down? does it cool it well tho?

It drops the temperature around 10 degrees on the slowest setting. Turning it up full blast only changes the temp a degree or 2.

Remember mine, exhausts the hot air which has been filtered. It sucks in clean air from outside the box. This keeps the inside about 5 degree warmer than the ambient air temp.
