I believe it is a 3 gallon...and so that we are clear...I did not do this! this is from fdd2blkits in a 5 gallon bucket though.. I dunno if id consider that rootbound..
believe what u will. I still say more soil =better results.. and btw ppl use to stick a nail into the stem and some still do, not to increase yield though, to increase resign production by stressing out the plant.. I dont endorse it, just trying to explain it..I believe it is a 3 gallon...and so that we are clear...I did not do this! this is from fdd2blk
He takes the root ball out and washes out what little soil is left...completely "spun-out" and full...I agree it is not bound...cuz it is a non issue in cannabis.
Yes it is less work to go big on the container, but that is it.
edit: And even if it was a 5 gal...24 zips!...funny how photographic evidence has resulted in a spike of yes votes on the poll...people used to stick a rusty nail in the stem to increase yeilds!
You clearly didnt see my plants in 1.3 litre continers. A few pages back. If I can grow those in 1.3 Liters. I definatly could grow a nice bush of a 6 footer in a 4litre pot.you can grow a 6footer in a 1 gallon pot but it will be very spindley and thin. now put same plant in a 5 gal and you will see the difference. a monster difference. like 4-6 oz diffenence
