Flora micro, flora grow, flora bloom

Question, Im going to start giving my plants some nutrients soon and am going to be using the Flora series from GH, wondering weather just to follow the directions on the bottle?, mix small amounts of all three?? What sort of success ppl have had with this stuff??

you wanna be careful how much you use. you can overfeed very easily with that stuff. It doesnt mix using = parts either.

so when did you start giving your plants nutes and at what strength??, BTW I looked at your journal, looks fantastik!! you look like a pro rather than a first timer!

its says on the bottle 1/4 tsp (of each) per gallon for seedlings and 3 - 2 - 1 teaspoons of each per gallon for veg growth

I started feeding when they had thier first set of 5 leaves.

week5 8ml 4ml 16ml
week6 8ml 0ml 20ml
week 7 8ml 0ml 20 ml

make sure u read it carefully. with most nutes u should not mix the bloom and grow together.. i know on the chart it looks like u should mix them all.. but it should say somewhere not to mix them.. i think it says to use micro first then grow or bloom...

anyway i dont know much

Just my 2 cents i grew using the gh 3part and didnt start feeding my plants till almost the 3rd week of growing straight from seed......the soil I used was foxfarm original potting soil which contained really good organic nutes and I also added superthrive since day one and it worked wonders for them.....so I was able to use the real nutes a few weeks later.....and in small doses 1/4 strength...

Now this chart is saying for you to mix all of this in my ten gallons of water, dont you think?

I use the GH flora nova 2 part, the GH stuff is good. no matter what brand I use I always use less than they call for at first and then work up to their recommendations...

alright good to know, I am going to go dilute mine a bit, and use at half strength for now on. They probably want you to use as much as possible so you BUY more! Thanks for the heads up

I use the Lucas Formula...mix 8 ml micro in a gallon of reverse osmosis deionized(distilled will work) water and then add 16 ml bloom, omitting the grow component altogether...this works for me and Snow White...

ya Ive heard to use at half strength then wok up to full, that way the plants are used to the nutes and are not shocked when they are introduced.

well on the advanced nutrients bottle it shows the same type of chart, but then on the bottle also it states to not mix grow or bloom toghter.. micro and grow or micro and bloom.. anyway who cares use it all
