Im a bit confused can any other of u stoners teel me if i can use a (its called a) SON 70W COMMERCIAL FLOOD LIGHT. my first thought was yea but then i thought mmmmmmm i better just make sure. im on a tight budget with not a lot room so im thinking mite it do the job alongside a 125w ecolite. for 2-3 plants im thinking 70w for temp and ventalation reasons.. ne way im gonner roll a fat head and wait for the answers to cum rolling in lol :

Have asked this and many other people have and it's a re sounding no. Save for the future hps. You won't have a issue venting a 250w hps but price wise not really any cheaper then a 400w hps

Depends on what kind of light that is exactly (fluorescent, incandescent) but I think it'll be too hot to do any good. Incandescents (like most household light bulbs are) put off more heat than usable light, so they can't really be used for growing.

Honest dude just stay away from flood lights. You get a more lumen per watt output with cfls.
