Clones Rapidly Dying!!

First time working with clones and read alot about it, but for some reason, they are not doing so hot. Clones came from a healthy female and ambient room temp is about 70F - 75F at all times. Also have them in a humidity dome, which I air out once a day, and started out using just water. It's been over two weeks since and no progress, so I mixed a very weak GH 3 part for seedling and have been using that with a spray bottle. They don't seem to be doing any better. Any help would be great!

I've noticed my clones don't root until they are on their deathbed, I wouldn't use any mutes as a foilair spray. If it's your first time, then you are prolly just impatient like me; it could take up to a month to see good root systems; from which area of your mother did you take the cutlings? my entire stem exposed to the wetness essentially turns into a huge root, and takes a little while to branch stringy roots off of it. I hope I've helped, let me know if you have any more concerns

I had the same problem and was maybe getting about a 20% success rate. Made a few changes and appears to be 100%. I use dome, heat mat, rapid rooters, clonex and ph 6.0. The change I made was to 12 hours dark after cutting and switching them to 18/6 after that which seems to have made the difference. They look healthy and growing now, I'm amazed!

Ok cool. So just water and no nutes huh...sounds good i guess. BTW, I took the cuttings mainly from the bottom of the plant.

Cool, good job! cutlings should be taken from the bottom of the mother; as long as they still look alive and they have constant water to the roots, good humidity and 75-85 degrees is good, they will root just fine; to experience this process is like watching water boil. Good luck
