Mike you seem a little agitated. Kmoo i agree that most of my reads involving clay balls are for hydro or DWC. Is 60g wet really only going to get you 18g? Sounds a bit stingy to me. Put some pics up my dear.

My buds easy lose 50-80% of weight in drying
the key is to grow a high calax to leaf ratio plant then use rock juice or lead or shooting powder to get them buds tight and also to pick at the right time

i didn't give shit to clay balls, just dont know anyone who uses them outside dwc. it's not something to worry over lol

its really not what happens when peeps get a little knowledge is they run with it give out bad advice etc no knowledge leads u to ask questions be humble etc

yeah you loose at least 70 percent of weight so multiply .30 by the wet grams and pretty accurate estimate to what youll have dry its pretty much always a 70% loss sometimes a little more

That sounds like the Norm 2me.. I use Clay Balls in my R/DWC setup & I can assure u it is far from backwards.. It is turning out 2 b a very rewarding system.

Nah ninj the fella earlier on was talking about using straight clay balls with no hydro or dwc or added perlite or soil. Hand watering. I thought they wouldnt have enough water retention to be effective but thats just what i was reading. I am happy to be corrected.

Just read it again. Maybe he was saying that hydro and clay balls are stupid and backwards. I have had too much cider.
