It means the government has AGAIN fooled people (a little more than half maybe) that THEY are your best hope for the future and all your hard earned cash belongs to THEM. What amazes me is the long list of programs the gov claims as 'successes'
Medicade/ Medicare= FAIL
SOCIAL INSECURITY= EPIC FAIL
NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND= FAIL
If that were my resume, I'd probably want to leave those OFF.

Everything the gov says they do well...is a flat out lie. About the only thing they have done well so far...is part fools from thier money...time and time again. They get an A+ on that. :wall:

My hat is off to you SIR. Well said.
Now too bad we couldn't get some politicians that would understand the TRUTH of that statement.
Sorry to hear your not feeling good BTW, that really bites.

from what I read on it, it says it only effects employers with 50+ employees, so that's really only hurting chain stores, which they get a tax imposed on them if they don't supply health care support. it will help in the long run, but while the bad is here, why not readjust for the future?

3-4 months out of the year are paid in taxes. i think i read somewhere that 51% of that goes to "defense" either way we should be able to reappropriate some of these funds. lets just take 9/11 as an example. nobody was fired. and we threw plenty of money to different places so that wouldnt happen again, which shouldnt of happened in the first place. but that is a whole different subject. only in america can you royally fuck up and get paid. i think i can understand some of these suicide cults now....

Just food for thought. Unemployment PEAKED at 24.9% during the great depression. "Real" estimates of our unemployment now are somewhere around 22%.
