Help on Making a Stealth Closet

Whats good riu,

i plan on growning in my closet but i wanted to make my grow completly hidden, which i will need your ideas to help me...

i attached a paint image of how the walls looks like when you walk in to the walk in closet to your left, i will get measurements later on. i was wondering what i can do to make the grow area of the closet hidden,

the measurements by head would be about 8-9 ft deep and about 5 ft high,


i was tinking about putting up a wall and having theese hidden hinges so the door folds into the grow room with some sort of latch and opening system but all ideas are welcome and will help me throw em around in my head,

lol, what was the point of the paint image, didnt really show us much now did it .

why do u want to build a room in ur cupboard, why not just use the cupboard itself, u can use black n white mylar to block the light from escaping ur room, that will sort the light issuse out, but to be stealth u need to be venting from and to somewhere, that could pose a problem to ur stealth issue.

the paint image was showing how the wall is for any ideas and i can vent into my attic space aswell from this walk in closet but just need to have it so if you open the closet door you wont know that there is anything in there

Thanks mate... still in progress, only flipped to 12/12 last night, another 8 weeks or so to go.

To have your grow totally stealth so no 1 can see it or hear it, then ur only option is to go in the attic space, if u plan on growing in a closet in a bedrrom then your gonna have noise from the fans.

If ur set on growin in the walk in wardrobe then the only way i can see is line the walls, ceiling and floor with some 2x2 wood beams, cut some 1/2" plywood or similar to the size of ur wardrobe and fix it to flat hinges and attatch to the 2x2 beams, add a push release catch and then light proof the inner room with mylar, but unless your wardrobe is at perfect 90 degree angles your new hidden door isnt goin to run flush and could look suspicious... but thats the only way i can think of doin it.

thanks but dont you think that drywall would be a little too easy to break? maye liquid nail some 2x4ss or some wood panels to the back of it to make it more sturdy and solid? still throwing ideas in my head and im cleaning the room out today so i will have pics up later for more details of how i would set the wall up,

I think a fire is less likely so long as everything is wired properly and u use a contactor for your high power stuff, mylar isnt exactly fireproof.

just plain drywall probably would be a little flimsy, there are sheet metal studs that can be used to reinforce drywall and keep the fire resistance
i'm quite wary of fire, so i take extra steps on this
some of the local arrests i have seen started as fires in the grow room

im not worried about fire too much as because im using cfls and i know my electrician stuff can you try to give a name on those studs?

this is mine A fram attic grow rooms first 4 are of the vegging room fake wall working wall socket with nightlight and air intake and out take.
and the others are of the flowering room and buds, both fake walls have working outlets make it look 100% more real. and i have a fake window. there is a window where the wall is 4" behind my fake one so it all lines up.

im not worried about fire too much as because im using cfls and i know my electrician stuff can you try to give a name on those studs?

just called metal studs/steel studs - they're in the lumber sections at home depot/lowes
cfl's are much more forgiving, HPS is what i was thinking you might be using
i haven't used these studs, they can be tricky to use compared to wood, that's their rep anyways
