might wanna think bout letting one or two go without any nutes till finish and compare the differences

I really would, but I only have three. I am on day 57. I am debating if I should just play it safe and stop the nutes, cuz that would assure smooth smoke. You know what Fuck it I am gonna stop the nutes now. Even with plain water I am sure there is a good bit of nutes/salts left in the pot needing to be dissolved.

Thanks for bringing this issue up again, cuz it helped me get my priorities straight. My number 1 priority is quality at this point. I am using a ton of different products (Bender's custom plan), so it would be safe to start the R/O to meet my number one priority of achieving top quality.

Holy shit Brother. How stoked are you? They look like they have double in the last 10 days man. I am so glad to hear you are keeping the OG around. I think you got that strains number now and it is such a great smoke. You are really goin nutz with all the different strains. I can't wait to see the LA/Skunk. The new girls look very very health man. You got some good clones there man. I am just so fuckin stoked for you man, I am glad you got this journal running, because it is one of the best on the board right now.

Damn Raider, you sent so much good Karma my way, I am very humbled my friend. Thank you for cheering me up and lifting my spirits. Lots of good vibes coming your way bud.

I am thinking about asking a mod to remove the strain names of OG and CJ from my thread title so I could just keep this one going with all the different genetics. What do you think?

Hey man you deserve all the good mojo you get man. I would defintaly do the thread extension thing... There is so much going on it would lose a lot if your broke up the journal. oh and about the flush..yeah they have pelenty of nutes to finish with a flush now and they will come out oh so smooth. I think it was Bterz that told me a while back to not be afraid of a long flush it is all good and they continue their thing. In coco 2 weeks would be a long flush, but like i said with me 7-8 days has given me some very smooth results.

Cool sounds good, I will just continue this thread.

I am using a lot of nutes and am not too sure if the buds will come out smooth. When I run the H&G line I will probably only do a 7 day flush like you because of your positive feedback. But with a mix of my nutes and recent high doses of 2.5 EC, I just wanna play it safe and get good medicine.

BTW I did a lot of reading on MH in late flowering. Definitely a lot of mixed opinions on the matter. The bottom line I found to be is that having both MH and HPS will provide the best spectrum and will beat either the MH or HPS alone. In my case where I cannot run both at the same time, it seems that MH is worth a shot. The UV from MH is the convincing factor for me. Also I think the slight reduction in lumens ain't really too bad of a thing for the last week of flowering, during the flush. For someone taking the ladies to 70 days I think it could help in prevention from gland degradation. It also goes in parallel with the natural cycle of reduced sun light during harvest. I always notice that the tiny buds in the bottom turn out extra frosty, I am thinking it could be the reduced amount of light they receive from being in the bottom.

I have definitely had my eye on the black domina for a while.

I have to stay under the legal limit, to each their own. Currently I have a lot of genetics to choose from, as soon as I pick the keepers I will try new stuff.

Current genetics:

Chem D
Grape Romulan
LA Confidential x Skunk
Kandy Kush x Skunk
Sleestack x Skunk
OG Kush
Grapefruit Haze
Casey Jones

I don't know why but I have a very strong feeling on the grape romulan, I think it might me what I been looking for.

For the skunk crosses, they could be males so some crosses might not even make it. Plus there is no info on these, i am not sure if the chances of keepers are high for the skunk crosses.

Cool, that makes sense on the MH at the end. I do noitve that the outside buds are extra frosty and it does seem that the taller buds do get a but less sticky at the end..almost like the trichs are over maturing from being closer to the light.

How are you going to determine sex? are you going to clone and flower or just veg till they show?

Glad to get a confirmation from you on the frosty outside buds.

I don't have a mother room, Just a few CFLs in the corner of a room with all the tiny clones.

My plan for the beans is that as soon as they are big enough to take a clone or two, I will toss them in flowering. The males will be thrown out, along with their clones. And the females and their clones will be kept.

I am very new school and have looked into the matter of seed mothers vs clone mothers. Also talked to breeders about this, there is no difference what so ever. Unless the plant gets very sick, even then it should be ok unless it got a virus of some sort.

I kind of wish I hadn't popped the beans.

That is exatly why I haven't popped mine man, I don't want to waste them. I was also waiting for enough people to run them that I could get an idea of what turns out and which might not be running

Bender, impressive my man. Those pics of yours looks like you been growing for a hundred years, they are beautiful. I too have a nice little collection of beans and like you prefer a sativa high to an indica. My partner wants to order some more so I'll throw in some bucks and get him to order me a couple of strains too. I'm almost decided on Jack47, which is a cross of jack herer and ak47 and I'll find some other sativa dominant strain to go with it. Tomorrow morning is chopping day for my partner's crop, all indica dominant plants. I have a sour cream going which is a cross of supposedly a cutting from the original sour diesel and a g-13 haze. I'll let you know how it turns out, she still has five or six or seven weeks to go. I haven't smoked any sativa in maybe decades now. I'm going haze crazy with my current grow. Beside the sour cream I have one each of a strawberry haze, arjan's haze #1 and a malawi 99, which is a cross of malawi gold from africa and cinderalla 99. I have them lst'd and she has buds everywhere. I'll post up some new pics either tomorrow or sunday. I usually do a weekly update on the six hundred club. Again, great job, truly impressive nugs. Good luck with the skunk train, I have the LA and the sleestack and one og18, my partner has the others.

I was aware of that, but thanks for the link mate. I am still a little scared and paranoid, its gonna take a bit of time for me to absorb that i can have a SOG and it will be legal.

I would rather do a SOG any day over a SCROG. much less work, no time training, no lollipopping, much easier to manicure, a lot less popcorn nuggets.

I am with you Bender, just staying on the safe side. My doctor just wrote me a no-limit script beacuse of the canabanoids ( etibles) that she recommends for arthritus in my back. Appearently, edibles are the best way to treat pain and arthritus. I have four patient co-operative grow and a personal unlimited script and still am not comfortable growing a sog. I have heard of the cops weighing your entire plants for weight..

i completly understand not wanting to push things but from someone who has been throu the system their fair share (26+ arrest 0 convictions) you would be supprised how a case falls apart and how exact they have to be and with this economy and thin police force coupled with having to pay compensate people for any cost they incur from an unjust (not resulting in conviction) arrest you can get away with alot these days

Bender, my partner has the other skunk train beans going already. Out of the fifteen free beans he kept eight and I have seven. I have the LA and the sleestack and one og18, he has the rest already started in party cups in his tent and tomorrow they will be transplanted and put under the mh. We're chopping his current crop this morning to make room for the new skunk train that has rolled into our neck of the woods. I'll keep you posted.
