I got mine and filled it out already. I answered the first question which was "how many people live in your residence?" That's the only question I answered because that is the only question the federal government has the constitutional authority to ask. To all the other questions, I answered "NCA," with an astrik referring to the bottom of each page. On to bottom of each page, I wrote "No Constitutional Authority." To all of the ethnic and race questions, I answered "American."

I will be expecting a visit from a crusty, mouldy, federal bureaucrat some time soon, at which time, I will tell him/her to take his/her census questions and shove them up his/her ass..

I see no harm in telling them how old I was and my race. Seems like they could find it out easy enough if they wanted.

I don't like not contributing to the share of certain funds my area gets based on demographics. I don't like the way it is done for sure, I probably don't even like the programs. But if we have to have them I think locally enough to want our share. Besides, I don't care what the bastards know about me, I'm not hiding from them.

I did the same thing for the last census, except I included my phone number. I got three calls, each one more emphatic and threatening. I just kept asking from where they derived their constitutional authority to be asking state citizens these questions. All they could tell me is that the questions in the census determins how federal funds are to be distributed. I, in turn, kept telling them that the federal government should just leave the funds in the states to begin with. I also reminded them that California gets back about 78 cents for every dollar the taxpayer sends to the feds. The last call was from a woman who was a real bitch. The call ended when I told her to come out and get me. I heard nothing further.

yah, i got mine this week as well.. i really couldn't believe how nosey these fukcs were... like everyone else said, what diff does it make what race i am? and for the how many live in my house... i was thinking of mayb a couple hundred or so.. f them and their census.. i was really suprised that they didn't expect me to pay my own postage though, i do have to say that was a shocker..

Actually, they can impose fines if you don't comply, and eventually, I guess they could take you to court. Of course, I'd be on your jury, and you know what that means.

The government can fine you $500 for each unanswered question. If it's incomplete, they WILL come visit you to get the form filled out. Be aware!!! I don't want those fuckin Census dicks coming by my house, sniffing out my pot- so I filled it out. No big deal, even though it bothered the hell out of me.......

The audacity of modern govt. has got to stop. Asking my name, address and birthday is just absurd. I only give my personal info like that to banks, driver license bureaus,utility companies, car dealerships, cell phone companies or if i need to replace a birth certificate or get a s.s card.
