Depends on strain and height when turned to flowering. Some can do nine in that space if pruned and monitored properly.

GO with 12" max before flipping them on basic pure indicas and avoid the sativas for that space if you are doing that many in a 3x3.

well said. if your hybrid is a 50/50 veg 6 for 45 days bend at day 30 to promote thicker shoots day 40 prune day 45 put in flwr. you can top them for larger yield but you will have smaller buds and more work. indica dominates you can go 9.

also don't forget that they will continue growing upwards even after you switch them to 12/12 light cycle.. Some people don't think about this and end up running out of room 3/4 of the way through flowering.

ya i gotta say NO WAY same size i grow in.... check the closet above^^ Unless you keep them all very small and top them, but Id still say no.....
