So after weeks of studying,worrying,and shopping around I am getting my first set-up.I have a 4x4 grow tent with 4 inch vent ports.I am getting a 4 inch vortex fan and 4 inch phresh filter.A 400 watt mh for veg and hps for flowering.The question I have is ballast in reflector or out.The price is like 180 for ballast in and they want $120 for yield master 2 shield and $141 for ballast,why not get the built in for $180 total,am I correct in this.Also,how dangerous is it to buy seeds online,will they come to your house if they discover you ordered seeds and customs got them,where is best place to order from for cheapest.Many more questions to come,and I have already learned alot just reading threads on here,thank you to all who pave the road for us

I am using the ebb and flow I found a complete 2x4 for $280 with all fittings ,hoses ,pump,etc,Is this a good starter set-up and what are some probs I may encounter

Uhh,Mr Ganja ,no offense but what if you are enforcement,I really mean no disrespect and if you are for real,that would be GREAT,but I am very skittery,already have a poss w/intent felony from bout 8 years ago,but not looking to get in trouble just grow my own babies

mr ganja's not his name, that just goes with the number of posts one has.. his name is speedy seedz, the guy who's site you see everywhere on here.. that is a pretty rightgeous offer right there, and no need to be worried, though i can understand .. check out his site when you get a chance.. great breeders and good prices, and you can't beat free..

Only going to last today though, which ends in about 2hrs 20 mins for me.

I'm not gonna sell myself to give you something for free, but by all means check me out on the forums.

i just wanted to get that post out there real quick, now ill try and answer some of your other ?'s.. i have one of the built in ballasts and it works good.. it adds a lil more heat to the setup, but not too bad with my lil two fifty... ebb and flow is nice, but i'm not sure that i would recomend that type of grow for a complete newb.. don't get me wrong, plenty of people start out that way and have no issues, but to me, it just seems like jumping in at the deep end ... but if you do decide to go that way, just read as much as you can on it.. or even check out a few grow journals on here that people have used the ebb and flow and see how they did it and what issues that they may have had and how they resolved them..

at the moment its roughly 1.5 or just over, but it changes.
