ok so i have two clones both shiva skunk.. and i've only had them for about 3 day lol.

i've had them under some CFL lights just because i think itd be cheaper for electricity bill.. but i also have a 250watt hps. i have no MH =C


so the question is. do you think i should just use the hps for the whole grow? or use the CFL for veg, then use hps for flowering?

Imho, a 250 watt hps would be much better than flo's.. in veg or flower

I would say if it was me and want the best results to and if can control heat without issue go with the hps any day
Just my small change worth!
for distance put higher then you think and see how they get on. General rule of thumb with most plants if stick your hand ontop of the canopy and if you can keep it there and not too hot your plants will be fine
