6 weeks into flowering...LOOKING SMALL?????

So these two plants have been in flower for 6 weeks....Im wondering do they look a bit small...the buds i mean...They arent fem seeds or anything but they came from some fire bagseed. Im not sure how much longer we should keep them in flower. We feed with botanicare pro bloom and molasses every watering...they just dont seem to be getting any bigger...any help would be appreciated thank!!!

they don't like too small.. what kind of lighting are you using? if you are using anykind of fluros.. like cff's or tubes.. a lot of times you buds will be smaller and a lil more fluffy than if you had used hid lighting.. also, how far away are your lights from your plants.. light diminishes quickly over distances.. you won't your lights as close as can be without burning your plants.. just put your hand right over the top of the plants and if it doesn't get hot in a minute or so, its not too close.. you may have to play around a lil to find the optimimal distance for your plants..

They germinated right around Xmas...Were using a 600w hps...the light is about 22 inches away from the plants.....How long do you usually let plants flower? i heard that some strains take up to 12 weeks?

well actualy, they can take up to 15 weeks! u could be looking at that kinda time. but who knows, just watch the trykcromes.

Only on one......its super frosty on the buds leaves and the buds it self...the other one is so so....i see some crystals but not to many...kind of surprised me since that one has had the biggest bud growth

i think they were stressed when they were younger. either way keep em going. they will just take longer than you expected. that looks like 12 weeker at least IMO

Yeah this was our first grow....we had to do alot of moving the plants around and we had heat prob for a little.Thanks for the advice is there anything i can add to set up growth besides the nutes i use and molasses??

Liquid Karma is (I think) kelp derived. Personally - everytime I used it - it either killed my plants or hurt them bad. It was the same symptom and it always happened right after I used the stuff. No idea why it gets rave reviews from other and kills my plants - but I now call it Liquid Death.

Guys at the hydro store are raving about this stuff called Bloombastic...now THAT's expensive! $98.00 for a small bottle. The guy who was buying it swore by it and all the workers agreed.

These nutes are pricey....But i guess if i just dont buy buds for like a week i could afford a nice size bottle. Bloombastic? I think i might have seen it when i went to get soil a month ago at the hydro store. I might have to check that out. Sorry about the liquid death.....i wont be using it...thanks for the advice!!

Let em grow man, your leaves aren't even browning and dropping yet, so you have lots of life left in her.
Let the buds get to peak, put it this way, they won't get any smaller so what do you have to lose?
I've seen gorgeous, massive, potent, sticky, stinky buds grown using nothing but soil and water. No nutes what-so-ever.
Got to remember, it's a plant. A plant will grow in the dirt between cracks in cement. I honestly think once you have a good light, growing weed is as easy as shitting in bed. You can make it as complex as you want it to be however.

By looking at your plants i believe they are in flowering and will flower for roughly another 2-4 weeks. the buds have not grown much because of stress of some sort whether it be light stress or actual physical stress from being moved about, dropped etc. Also look into trying out different types of fertilisers as well as flowering boosters and additives. My first grow was exactly the same used a 400w HPS and got very small airy puffed up buds on this one G13 Haze due to light stress. even though the plant was into week 8 of flowering it only looked like it was week 4 very small buds to what i saw pictures of advertised and other grows. BEST OF LUCK MATE WAIT ANOTHER FEW WEEKS AND KEEP CHECKING THE TRICHOMES TO SEE WHEN ITS READY.

I would agree that the plants are probably reacting to the stress. Some strains don't swell until very late in flower so you may be surprised. Aslo, how often are you watering man..they look like they may be over watered from the looks of the fans in the last pic.

I also agree about the overwatering.. they look faded.

Also, Might wanna look into a better flowering fert.

I like Fox Farm myself.

That plants looks big time Sativa..Like Fuzzy mentioned, It can take up to 15 weeks to finish.

Thats the reason I wont grow a 100% Sativa..Takes forever.

First, THANKS for ALL the helpful input! Watering only when top 3 inches of soil are dry. We have a moisture meter probe that tells us how the dry the bottom is. we usually wait until the meter is dry at the bottom and water. the meter seems to show dry as soon as the top 3 inches are brown(not wet). I have a feeling that this bullshit soil that we used on these is affecting them tremendously. Its called Jungle Grow or something. I read the bag recently and it says it feeds the plant up to 4 months.....not cool.... I think the "clawed" looking plant has been over fed throughout its lifetime. at least its showing the most signs of stress. we are using fox farm on our others in veg and they look NICE. I transplanted a young vegging buddha cheese that was in the Jungle grow shit soil.... ALL the roots were at the BOTTOM of the pot as if it were trying to grow out of it. Trans into fox farm and added nutes to the last watering.. SHE is green as a leprechaun's dick! Learned a lot on the first grow! Well my roommate JUST moved out of a spare bedroom. So we can have out closets back for clothes and have WAY more space. About to go work on that. Check out my grow journal for more! Thanks again!
