how common is it to have even number of blades on leaves? Ive always seen 3 5 7 you know. well my plant has 4 and 6 struck me as strange just figured its one of those odd things.

It's all in the genetics

My plants usually sprout 5-7 sometimes 9 leaves and even numbers aren't uncommon. But as Phyzix said it all comes down to genetics

mine actually have six blades right now, some kind of genetic mutation, it's pretty cool though, huh!
