i like humbolt nutes! i would for sure get a ppm meter. your using soil right? i feed once a week on the same day and every week is a little hotter then the week before. i also like to give a little shot of hydrogen peroxide the day before i feed. everybody has there own little tricks and it is usually trial and error. good luck!

lookin good bro, i was planing on doin a dresser box but have been stumped as to how to get the front drawers to open. saw urs and read how u did it and i think that will work. do u think u could post some pics of ur door hinges and the holes u drilled so i could get a better idea? like the left and right sides inside and out? would really help me out man. thanks and good luck

Hey man, we're doing pretty much the same grow at the same time! Only differnece is ive got a bigger cab and 5 Purple JEMS going, just little seedlings right now. Im picking up a 400 watt hps/mh conversion today so i'm pretty stoked! I dont have pics up yet but you should definitely compare notes with me as we go along. Good luck man!

whats up Ha38bb, well im gonna try and describe this the best i can! :lol:, the door has two rods, 1)at the top and 1) at the bottom! so it can swivle you will have to play with this cause you gotta find the right spot for the rods, so the door will swing open and when it closes it will be flush! the front itself is the drawers faces with a piece of 1/2" quality wood (dont know the name but dont be cheap on this part you want some strong solid wood my friend) behind it! then the locking part is two of the same rods, will 2 holes drilled in the right side! the holes go from the right side, and into the BACK piece of wood not the drawer faces themselves! you will have to measure the rods to make sure you will have the right length to let them slide in so you cant see them. Then get you a strong magnet to be able to pull them back out!!! i hope this helps, but if you have any more questions just let me know man. Buying my nutes, hydroton, and rapid rooters are gonna cost a little more than i thought! i am buying them mon. when i get my check tho! my nutes i am getting are gonna be flora nova "big grow" and advanced nutrients "sensi bloom A+B"! but to the main question i am planning on germinating them tomm. morning! looking up methods as we speak! what does everyone feel is there fav. method?

thx for the fast reply, my drawers are not flush to the dresser itself, they hit the left and right walls, and stick out about a half inch. i found what i was lookin for about 2 hrs after i posted yesterday. They sell "hidden hinges" that go on the inside of the box and will allow for my door to swing out. ill try and find the link and post it. but thx for the help neways u prolly will have helped someone else out by posting that, just found somethin better that will work for me. peace bro

yea i was gonna go with european hinges at first but once i got further in i realized the way i constructed my box they wouldnt work for me! But i hope everything goes well my friend

MinorThreat, you've completely inspired me to make something of my oversized dresser sitting back at my parents house. I currently live in an apartment complex with 6 police officers as neighbors, so a stealth grow (if any grow at all) is definitely the way to go. I've only ever grown in soil and this was that last push I needed to convince me to move on to Hydro (dwc specifically). I'm not sure if I simply missed it or not, but I'm anxious to see some pics of the final cab in running condition.
