hello there i have a question im doing a similar grow but in a pc grow box i made. i have a first generation og clone i bought and i put it in vegg for 2 weeks with 3 cfls equaling to 200 watts total, it was growing so quickly i had to flower it ealy and now its been 3 weeks flowering with cfls equalling a total of 400 watts. the problem im havin is the buds are small and i dont know what to do. i was told its a 8 week flowering strain, it has 5 weeeks left to harvest. im using miracle grow soil and miracle grow nutrients and started using gh nutrients. please any help would be great. thank you
Heyy man.. wow! that things in a PC!? it looks doo much bigger! lol. anywayz.. nice strain u got there. but honestly.. I dont think the buds look that small for 3 weeks...? Ive seen peopl who have their plant flowering for a little over two weeks.. and JUST find out the sex cuz 1 or 2 little white hairs popped out.. i think yours looks fine.. Mine is 24 days into flowering (so 3 weeks and 3 days) and the buds are roughly the same size.. mine MIGHT be a tiny bit bigger.. but i'm not sure.. but either way.. I dont think they look small at all..
I know they said it should be an 8 week strain.. but u cant always go by that.. there are ALOT of other things that u have to factor in that affect the time it takes to flower..
For example...
: If you dont have enough light.. your plants gonna grow smaller buds.. adn its gonna take a lot longer to flower..
: If somehow.. you stress your plant out.. it will take long to flower
: If your plant has a nute deficiency.. it will flower slower
: If you don't have enough room for the roots to grow/ your pot is too small.. and your plant gets root bound.. it will take MUCH longer to grow/flower
ok.. i think u get it.. lol. i really had to think hard of some more reson.. cuz I was like oo yea.. theres ALOT of reasons.. and after 2.. i couldnt think of anymore. lol. but u get what I'm sayin right?? I was using Miracle Grow nutes during veg.. thewy were the little packets.. they were high in Nitrogen.. soo they were good for Vegging.. I think that MG Flowering nutes would work fine tho?? as long as its high in P..
But u gotta be careful too.. cuz u dont want it to be too high in one.. and not in the other.. cuz then u tend to get a buildup of that one nute thats high.. and a deficiency in the one that are too low.. adn its madd hard to get it back on track..
Right now.. I'm using Schultz - All Purpose Plant Food.. its green liquid.. the NPK values at 10-15-10.. which is pretty good for flowering.. its only like 4 or 5 bucks at wal-mart too.. but I think wat u have now should be working fine..
Also.. u said u have 400 watts of CFL's right..? do u mean thats the ACTUAL wattage.. or the equivalent?? Cuz i have a shit load of CFL's for my 1 plant.. adn I'm only at like 220 watts... but thats the actual wattage.. not the comparison.. if i was goin by the comparison..i would probably have like 1000.. or somewhere around there.. if your goin by the equivelant wattage.. then u may need another light 2.. but thats only if u really feel as if the buds arent growing fast enough..
But like I said.. I think yours look fine.. u got nothin to worry about.. ur strain might still finish at 8 weeks.. you'd be surprised how fast the buds will grow once they start forming.. i notice a big difference every day i check on mine.. and if Im ever out for a day.. adn come back to see them. they always look so much bigger!
Just keep doin wat ur doing and they will turn out fine.. worse comes to worse.. you might need to flower for 9 weeks. which is still not bad.. u should go to RadioShack.. and but a little microscope.. they have them for about $10. theyre 60x-100x magnification.. and have a little light on it to. to use it u have to put the end of it right up to the bud tho.. but use that once you hit about 8 weeks.. and check ur trichs.. see if there is any amber or not.. u want 1/2 amber 1/2 cloudy..

But they still survived.. they never gave up on me.. soo i never gave up on them.. the bud wasnt the best.. (it was mids bagseed tho.. AND it went hermie soo I didnt expect good bud) but it still got me high.. dont give up on it man.. you can do it!
lol. well idk.. what do u guys think i should do. like I said. .its been 3 weeks and theres nothign really to show.. adn shes really weak.. adn ugly.. lol. and I have about 15 more "mystery seeds".. soo i can grow her another time.. wen I have my HPS...?
