If you sell pounds for $4500 you are making a profit of over 5oo% - whats up with that?

You should be allowed big profits, but not the dispensaries? Everyone involved make plenty of money.

Personally, I say fuck dispensaries(even though I'm helping to keep them open in my county) but more importantly, fuck commercial growers. I pay $190-200/oz, which is good prices, but I know they're still making huge profits, the ones around here syphon their top shelf shit to the clubs in SoCal, one grower I know had 10 lbs of Green Crack, not a gram of it got smoked up here.

Very good point! But any grower will know that growing isnt free by any means.

PG&E, nutrients, lights, fans, And a WHOLE lot of time. And anyone in here will attest that a good crop needs a lot of tending to. And once again.. PG&E?

How much did you plunk down for your grow room? How much does it cost for you to maintain it? This bud isnt grown under 1 florescent light in yo mamas closet.. lol

Whats good genetics worth? Genetics that a grower has been growing for 10+ years? I know plenty of people that would pay good money to get his clone mothers.

And please re read my 1st post. At one time it was $4500. That came down to $3000.

The price also has a lot of other factors. Growing in mass quantity is STILL illegal. High risk, high reward.

But dont forget the main reason for this post. It has N-O-T-H-I-N-G to do with mine, or my buddys pockets. Its about how the clubs have went down DRASTICALLY in quality... But yet the price is still the same.

I most fervently disagree with you....

Sounds to me like your a disgruntled vendor who isn't making the money they used to...I frequent several of the dispos you mention and always walk away with FIIIRE. In fact, I would say that the overall selection of good smoke has increased. I was at angel care 3 days ago and they had 25 varieties, and all of the top shelf ones (about 10) looked like they deserved to be there. I picked up dream queen and purple dragon, frosty as fuck and nice long lasting high...The hash has always been good from angel care as well.

I have also been a vendor there and can say that the grader is very picky but definitely recognizes good smoke.

Honestly, to me at least, having dealt with these clubs both as a patient and as a vendor, I can say that your observations are not entirely correct. In your post you complain about how your making less money...here's a new flash for you...everybody is making less money, get over it. Your not the first around here to complain about not being able to move your gear.

If cannabis is a business to you and not a passion, you should get out of it and get into something else.

wow I figured that the clubs would be selling their stuff a lot cheaper than that. That is messed up to be charging the same price but paying much less for lower quailty product. I figured the prices would go down, but also it would become more affordable. It's like a monopoly because only certain people are allowed to sell it so you don't get undercut by the average joe without over head. Anyways, I just picked up 30$ 1/8 last week, the bud is too moist but once I cured it it's really good. Stingy bastards after I lose all the water weight I'm probably paying the same price as everywhere else. A few more months come on.....

Im not the grower of the bud in question (my grows arent very potent, YET, lol).. I was just the middle man. Im not a disgruntled seller by any means.

I like the people at Angels Care a lot. And I like how the owner, is the actual tester. But you cant tell me that the quality hasnt come down since they opened? I have actually walked in there to buy bud.. And walked out with hand lotion, because the bud smelt like hay.

we do not have dispensaries here in oregon, we have the med card and we can grow, but its illegal, 1/8 on the street goes for 40.00 in portland3.5 grms, if you have a med card its hard to find an honest grower, i went through two, now do my own. im aging myself but im an old hippie from the 60's, always loved bud, have a good day from up by mt hood oregon

I dont go to dispos all the time, only when I am in between grows (like now) or if I have a good harvest and want to sell my extra smoke. Its not a business but a passion with the added benefit that I can sell my "overstock" so I can say that every dispo has lean times and fat times. In my experience, with angel care, harborside oak & SJ, I have always found really nice smoke.

By the way, I am using that dream queen cut from harborside oak in a breeding project soon...that cut is some of the best smoke I have found....

Damn that sucks to hear. Down here in so cal (orange county area) 85% of the clubs offer top shelf DANK for even as low as 15 (but often is 20 a g) then they have mid quality for 10-13 a g. Only problem is they fucking pigs keep raiding our dispensaries. One of our top clins (agenda 215) just got raided a 3RD!! Time even tho they charge sales tax for the city!!! And they put the manager on duty (not even owner) in jail with. 100,000$ bail. This shit is annoying it's like we have right but it's so convoluted your still in danger constantly.

That's what I'm sayin down here in the Inland Empire, Riverside you couldn't find some bad weed if you tryed hah. I pick up all my meds from IEPG usually get a half eighth they hook me up at least 2.2 everytime of this shit for 30 bucks

Then again the club is my garage and the only members are me, her, and a few cats.
