Dont use mothers they take up alot of space, just take some clones off the clones 1-2 weeks before you put them in flowering. Mothers will eventually out grow the tent, you could keep mothers untill they get to big and move them to flower, and replace them with some rooted clones and start new mother plants when they get too big move them to flower and repeat the process. Those mothers that out grow the tent will put off roughly 2-4 ounces a piece if they stay in the tent for around 3 months. Every 2-3 months move in new mothers and out with the old mothers that have outgrown the cab.

If you are going to clone though, I would reccommend a areoponic cloner with sprayers set for 1 min on 5 min off, you can make 1 with plastic toat, and pvc with spray nosles. LOL dont know how to spell nosles. Look in the FAQ section there is a few diffrent types of cloners but the areoponic cloners have a higher success rate than most others.

i understand that. but having one veg room and one flower room is all you need.

say you have have veg room... you can move plants into the veg room and out to flower at ANY TIME!

so wat if you have plants that are 8 weeks flowering in the same room with plants only flowering for 4 weeks?

same thing with the veg.

it doesnt matter so long as ALL the veg plants are on the same light schedule and ALL the flowering plants are on the same light schedule....

beyond that all you have to do is keep track of which ones are how far along.

3 rooms/sections is overkill in my opinion...especially because each room will only have a handful of plants.

i see what your saying. my counter point was, if i do it your way iwould be using a 4x8 tent and two hids, my way is just the 4x8 tent chopped in half. its more ideal for the shape of the room.
if your suggesting i use one 4x4 tent and one 1000 watter, i couldnt fit them all in. im using 5 gallon pots and looking for BIG girls.
i guess i could do a 76"x76"x76" tent with two 600s.

I think using both your 1000 & 400w hps lights in one 4x8 room and just adjusting them underneath the lights (1-4 under the 400w and 5-8 under the 1000w) would allow you to combine the power of both lights in one room. This way the new girls get damn good power right from the get go, giving you bigger buds. also if your adding CO2 into the mix the fresh ones can benefit from that making your yields come in even faster...
having two separate rooms both operating under the same light schedule using the same kinds of lighting just seems like a waste to me. also you might want to consider possibly using a 400MH next to the 1000wHPS, that way the fresh girls will have the blue MH promote growth but still get good ambient red light and vise versa the 5-8 girls will have the hps over them but have a good blue in the background just like summers end =]

If you can section off a room instead of tents you could increase yeild up to 4 times because you could have more plants, depends on how many mature and immature plants you can have.

if you are growing for medical reasons, then there is no reason or need for a pound a month....LOL!!! if your looking to yield a pound Have a lil patience and invest in a bigger tent( 4x8..)
2-600's. co2 and good climate control. use the other tents to veg for at least 4 weeks, and find a good high yield producing clone strain.... better yet, use a mamma and have your own clones.. and walla!! 2p's every 2 months= 1p/1month

thanks for your input. about the pound a month, im trying to provide meds for me and another while selling my overages to my compassion club to pay for all my costs. so it really is nesseccary to get that much because otherwise i cannot afford it. my patient is not going to be paying for his meds, im providing it for free.
there is alot of good info in here and i appreciate everyones input. i will be reading this thread again in detail tonight before deciding what to buy.

i like your idea for a clone tent and veg and one for flower but the whole point in getting 3 tents is so i can harvest once a month. in order to accomplish that i believe i need two tents dedicated to flowering.

Yea I get about 8 ozs every three to four weeks with four plants. I think it would take 8 or 10 plants to get a pound

Hi I am a fellow michigander and wanted to know what process you had to go through to get your card.? I hd got into a car accident about 12 years ago and have been told I have herniate discs and back, leg and knee problems. My problem is that I have medicaid and the doctors bs about looking into stuff using mri because of the insurance. So i have pain on my record and other stuff but I basically gave up asking for help and have just dealt with the pain by smoking. So I want to know how I would go about getting it or what doctor i would deal with. Thank you
