a pound a month in soil

ok so heres what im up to.
i recently became a patient and im trying to get around a pound a month. im using soil and three tents.

tent one: 18/6
2x4'
400 watt hps
4 pots with seeds, thirty days and move to tent two. start 4 new seeds.

tent two: 12/12
4x4'
600 watt hps
4 pots each with one month old plant. thirty days

tent three: 12/12
4x4'
1000 watt hps
4 pots, each plant four weeks into flower. thirty days and chop.

so as you can see i would just move the pots between tents and every month i can harvest four plants.
i figure i will have problems with seeds sprouting in time to start the cycle and get thirty days veg. i can however have the seedlings prepared well before the cycle is ready.
also if a strain doesnt finish in 8 weeks of flower, a short delay will be okay because it will just fatten up my girls in the veg room.
oh and obviously im using fem seeds.
does anyone see any problems with this setup? any suggestions would be great!

ps i will start a journal with TONS of pics when my seeds and other two tents get here.

go with fast flowering indicas. some sativas will take forever and a day. and be careful cause fem seeds sometimes herm out on you. you should look in to co2 as well. i use a 5 pound tank and refill every other month.

Welcome to perpetual growing. Ive been growing perpetual for a little bit now. I can give you a couple things ive learned it might save you some troubles.

Stick to Indica or Indica dominant strains to keep flowering times down.
Stick to 1 or 2 strains that grow alike. It makes canopy management a lot easier.
I grow clones from clones. I dont keep mother plants anymore, takes up a lot of precious space.

If youre going to be buying seeds do some research before you buy. Learn what you can about a plants genetics and flowering times before you buy. Good luck on your grow.

four ounces per plant might be difficult if your inexperienced and you veg time is pretty short 30 days of 18/6? why not make the second tent 16/8? or are you worried about vertical space? another option would be to make the first tent into a clone/ veg tent, the second into just veg and the third flowering. that way you can clone your known pure females that dont herm and you wont have to keep buying seeds. just a few things to consider. hope it all works out for you though.

thanks for everyones suggestions i appreciate it all.
i like your idea for a clone tent and veg and one for flower but the whole point in getting 3 tents is so i can harvest once a month. in order to accomplish that i believe i need two tents dedicated to flowering.

lmao, i would agree with that a couple months ago however now that the state handed me a mmj card, this place is bliss. i truly have changed my feelings towards michigan alot.

move two plants out to harvest at a time from your last tent. the other two in the tent will be one month behind. you bring another two in from your 16/8 tent and so on...

I bet so. still doesnt chane the fact that i have no job. though I would care less if I had my card. IMO our conditions and disorders list is very small and needs to be expanded. I have insomnia, depression, and anxiety but those aren't good enough reasons to smoke pot I guess. but on the plus side we get a new governor soon. Ted Nugent is running. lol whatever that means idk if its good or bad.

so your saying to use two tents. one 12/12 and the other 18/6. how many do i keep in each because its not working out in my notes.

basically you have two stages of growth in each of your 3 tents 1st would have 2 seedlings and 2, month old plants. the 2nd would have 2 month old plants and two 3month old plants, 3rd would be 2 3month old plants and 2 plants ready to harvest so when you harvest you move in two oldest from the second and you move the 2 oldest from the first into the second and you start two more seeds. would a half pound be acceptable per month? your yeild will go up as you get more experienced and add things like co2.

Beyond his music and hunting, the guy is an ultra-conservative, and were he to run, and win, you can bet your last dollar he would do away with our new MMJ laws before he took his first dump as governor. I've been wanting to get legal myself, but agree that our list is a bit small, but it's a start. Bad thing is, I haven't been to a doctor in about 25 years, so no records to pull that I have sought treatment for my chronic headaches, back spasms, and depression and anxiety(who in MI isn't depressed and anxious the last few years). Seems like it's going to be a process for me to get legit, but as soon as I can get some insurance from a job, you bet I'll be off to see a Dr. to get the ball rolling. Congrats to those of us in Michigan doing it legally now! Must be a great feeling having a little less fear of Johnny Law paying an uninvited visit.

man you are really doing it wrong. you dont use insurance, you dont see your family doctor either. you also dont need medical history.
find a mmj doctor.
pay him 150 cash, thats all they accept.
he gives you paper work to mail in to the state and your done. and legit.

You don't need 2 separate flower tents for this to work ; you just need for the flower tent to be 2x as big as your veg tent...or larger ; no need to double up on lights and stuff

I think hes right about Ted being conservatives he was one of those I don't do drugs rock stars, go get high on nature and hunt. I did hear he left for texas but he still owns land in Jackson MI so I think he might be coming back ]. but this is a topic for a different thread Rzza is trying to solve an issue here I dont want to jack his thread with politics.
