Just finished your thread. It was very interesting. Between this one, your Noob Advice, and the tangents into Uncle Ben's, I feel I have learned alot. It's obvious you have been involved in education. As a fellow research-hound, I enjoyed your thread. I'm currently close to starting my medical grow. I'm going to try six different strains from my caregiver. Then narrow down to two or three to clone from.
Glad you enjoyed it! let me know how your grow goes?

Matilda has started to show a few deformed leaves, this is a good sign that she is switching over to reveg mode, it has been 2 and 1/2 weeks and this morning I switched out the 2700K 65 watter for 2 23 watt 6500K bulbs.

I probably should have done this to begin with but I wanted to see how she acted under the "red" light. Will now see if she likes the "blue" light better?

Also I have been watering her with 1/4 strength veg nutes (Jack's All Purpose 20-20-20) she seems to go 5 to 6 days between waterings (she has no fan leaves to wick fast with)

Will keep you posted as things change

Ok so tomorrow will be the begining of week 4 and we have lift off

What she did was to bulk up one of her top baby bud leaves, very similar to what she did back when I first burned her, you can see it in the pic (upper left) I know she did this to get more light

And you can see all the new green veg growth at the bottom (I have reposted the first reveg pic to compare)

As I said earlier don't care how long this takes as I want to see what she does and we are still doing the house hunting thing, so wanting the new grow room to start the CMH grow :bigjoint:

Will keep updates (& pics) commin

I am so glad I took pics yesterday!

As Miss Matilda is back my friends over an inch of new growth since pics 24 hours ago, we have a new stem and new fan leaves (and another one of those narly leaves bulked up to get light) It is so cool to watch her do this!

I don't think I have said that I have been feeding her 1/4 strength Jack's All Purpose 20-20-20 with every watering during the last 3 weeks of this re-veg adventure (today is the beginning of week 4) I should also tell everyone that I raised the temp from 72 to 78 and the humidity from 33 to 48

Now that she is going again it is gonna be cool to see how and what she does and I'm just gonna let her go, no topping this time (though I may still have to LST her) Since she is back in veg mode I expect her to work on her roots and get over the coir pot rootbound mishap, looking at 1 inch of new growth in 24 hours I'd say we're on track :bigjoint:

do you think she wil grow in the same way she did last grow? i have read many varied opinions on re-vegging, so I really dont have a clue. suppose it depends on several variables, including strain environment feeding etc.

Well this time I won't be experimentin on her and we'll just have to see what she does?

One thing for sure she is a real tropper :weed::clap::weed::clap:

Love the reveg bro!! I'm currently doing a reveg and I haven't been feeding her, just chopped a few days ago but do you recommend to feed them I use Jacks also through the veg state works great I think. Should I be watering at all yet I trimmed the roots and fluffed them up and put new soil in what if anything do you recommend ? Thanks happy growing !! Peace

I would think that if you put it in new soil (depending on the soil) that you would be ok? But a light feeding of al purpose can't hurt

I am in the same soil, most of which was spent, plus I probably kiled off some of the organic stuff with my H202 experiments

and this was my first ever re-veg so I was thinking that I needed to make sure the plant had plenty of N in order for it to re-veg

hope that helps and good luck with your re-veg!

This was a great grow...quite the system you have....in the beginning I was thinking you spent more on stuff and could have gotten a 400w HPDS and supplies for the same price...but your system still turned out great. I wish I wouldn't have tossed my other plants and just gotten a HPS sooner...how many watt is that center light you have cuz that looks huge? Great work, you definitely proved it can be done and done well....but I will stick with HID's anyway...

The CFL is 65 watts from Home Depot the circle bulb is a 32 watt T9 12"

Yes I wanted to show it could be done

and if you know how to grow with small amounts of light, once you switch to HID you will go nuts

next grow will be 400 watt CMH I'll show you what I mean

Thanks for stoppin by, I love visitors!

Hey Riddle,

The re-veg is starting to take off I see. You gotta love that. So you do not plan on doing any type of topping her? Can't wait to see what she does. Since there is not going to be any stress on her than she should take off pretty quick.

I have been contemplating putting the plant I topped back into veg after harvest just to see what she does. The girls have been troopers so I am hoping to get a couple cuttings off em If I can?

Finished up the new veg box and started some more seeds. Going to start a new thread when the show their little heads.

Thanks for al you have been doing on here.

Keepin em green!

Cool stuff.

Yea, once it has an established and healthy root system the plant is pretty damn hard to kill.

Very true!

I want to share a bit more with everyone now that I am seeing results from my latest experiment

I was told that re-veggin was a waste of time by a few growers, that it takes to long. but I want to point out that it was only 3 weeks to get a 4 inch plant that has 3 internodes,,,,,much like exactly what I would have if I had started a new seed

What I did,,,,,was to keep the red light (as I told you) I then slowly increased the light time over the 3 week time, no schedule just added time every few days till I got to 16 hours, at that point I changed to blue light and started increasing by 15 minute increments. The idea was that I was changing the light much the way it changes outside when we move into spring.

I am now at 16 hours and 45 minutes and have stopped because of the 1 inch growth that I am seeing daily, which has been vigorous and consistant. because of this I am currently sticking with this schedule to watch and see what happens (growth wise)

I admit that this experiment needs to be tweaked but I feel that this may well be something to share and consider as a healthy re-veg in 3 weeks makes total sense to me
