I hope someone can help.. I have spent so much time reading all all just sugestions... I need advice from some who grows for yeild not free smoke. I have heard yeilds as low as one o... up to 500 plus grams...if big yeilds are poss what do I need I have about 4500 to put into a room... I am planning on hydroponics... can some please help... I have found light that make 148000 lumens per 1000 watt .. I was planing on maybe running 2 or 3... this is well over 4500 lumens per sq/ft. Does anyone know if the IR Blocker works? Please anyhelp would be great. I would like to grow fast .. without hurting my yeild or quility. I know someone out there is saying .. dam I rem what that was like trying to start out. I want to know what I have to do ... even if its more money. Thanks for your time..

the design depends on how u will use it. are u going to flower in the same room as vegging, can u seperate the 2 areas, one for flower one for vegging. i have a space thats 3 x 6 and 3 x 6 ea. i veg in one room for 30 days from seed on an 20/4 light cycle, then move them to the flower room on a 12/12 light cycle. i also grow for volume. i found that 600 watt hid's put out more for less elec. costs. are u going to clone or from seed? i built a small 2 x 2 box that i have 4 cfl's in that i start my seeds and i have a small humidity dome from hardware store for 5 bucks i clone in , works great. trick is to start enough plants to get the females u want, but have enough room in flower chamber to flower them.
waterfarm makes a great system, i use soil, works for me. i may try aeroponics and hempy buckets on some of my next plants.
i have a perpetual grow here, i harvest every 2 weeks, i stagger my plants in the box, every 2 wks, 2 or 3 come out and 2 or 3 go in. fox farms has good nutes, it's up to you.
i have no idea what an IR blocker is, (Infra Red????)
just use good quality grow lights.
i have a buddy at HTG Supply, contact me privately and i'll give u his #. he deals with this stuff all day and knows his stuff.
u can go with autoflowers on your fist try and get your feet wet, plus get some smoke. they dont yeild much but they can help u learn quickly.
i grow, Super Skunk. Master Kush, Wonder Woman and Russian rocket Fuel inside, and Sweet Haze and LA Woman and GigaBud outside. they get too big for inside.
money dosent grow pot, u have to put the time in here to learn BEFORE u start, there is enough info on this site to do it, i did, so i know u can.
follow, Uncle Ben, Subcool posts, they seem to be some of the best growers on here, and they are breeders, there are many others also, i just like the way these guys teach.
order good quality seeds or buy clones to start, i make my own seeds now from these strains, so i dont have to buy seeds unless i just want a diff strain.

I see a ton of used growing gear on Craigslist every week.
If your passion is for the Greenbacks through the Green bud's then you have a long, rocky road ahead of you.

I have wanted this indoor garden for many years. I have back problems for lifting long hours at work.. I understand your upset.. I am a younger guy looking to build a retirement that no one is going to give me ....I have no money that is the problem ...that money is my savings. So please just help me out. The big yeilds are to help with the risk factor... same for me with 1 or 10. I hope to save and move to a more understanding area. If you live in an area where no med laws are you will understand me.

If you are not in a Medical Marijuana Friendly state you are risking a lot.

If you are young, you have time to master this. And it takes time. There are very few first time success stories out there. An education is expensive. An expensive education you do nothing with is a shame. Start small and learn from first hand what works best for you. It's taken a year and 3 grows to get my shed where it's at today. And a pot full of cash.
I ain't pissed at you. I'm pissed at the idea that this is easy and everybody can get rich off it. How many well off people do you know who are not passionate about what they do? Understanding, patience, passion, love and care. Thats what it takes,,,,,
You can set up your room real nice if you spend carefully. Use your imagination when you build it and make it "yours".
I'm working my way up to a monthly harvest and it's been a long, expensive haul. Learned a lot here and there bust mostly by paying attention to my girls and taking it slow and easy.
I've posted a pile of pics on my room. Things that did not work and things that do. For the girls and me.
I'm an old guy. This is what I do now. Spend a lot of time in that shed.

You can do better than that.
Light tables are the easiest to look up. You have to research this shit and educate yourself.
That should have been one of the very first things for you to consider.
Will three 600 watt bulbs will be more efficient than 2 1000 wt lights? What about canopy penetration? What about the length of time my light movers should be paused for at the end stops?
See these are the kind of things that can lead to trouble.
Again, why not start off small and get a grow or two under yer belt before going crazy. That way you learn firsthand.
Get a 1000 watt light and ballast. Don't try and save money on the light and ballast. Buy from a local hydro store that will replace any equipment that fails. Mine does. They think I grow tomatoes and veggies.

For setting up your room take a look at how I set up my shed. It didn't come with instructions on how to set up a grow room. I measured twice, thrice and tried to think ahead. Guarandamnteed you'll want to add on later no matter how much you spend now.
