1st time patio closet help

Hey all, after stalking the site for awhile its time for all my questions lol.

I'm going to going to a smaller grow space from the garage at my old house.... to TA DA... the standard apt. closet

9' tall
2.5' deep
3.5' wide

anyway... I have a 600w bulb and a 6"ballast, never really thought about heat or anything before as it was outside in a garage but now I worried that it may make way to much heat. Any tried a large bulb in a such a tight space lol?

2nd... fan issue, the induct I currently have is giant for the space and I'd have a 6" ducting sticking out my patio door. any ideas on how to move the air without being overly obvious

Think that's it for now lol Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, mount the ballast outside the closet #1, Then... Vent your closet to the room it's in and make a concealment box to cover the CARBON filter you need to attach to the vent fan. Then dress it up like a table & put a TV on it.
Or if looks aren't important run the ducting to the nearest bathroom with a exahaust fan. You'll want the higher volume vent fan you have to help control the humidity and heat in the room. Good Luck!:peace:

hey,

I would suggest building or converting a cabinet, and use an air cooled reflector, cool tube or whatever. It's a pain always remembering to close the door too. A good cab can really mask the sound, I've had chicks in my grow room and they had no idea I was growing, all they hear is a fan noise and they don't ever think its in a cabinet.

Plus, you can control odor, and bro, I've grown one plant in an apt closet and it fucking stunk up the whole crib, it's very dangerous and you need to be extra stealth about it. gl.

Thanks for the help guys here's some pics to get a better idea,

I'll be extra dl on things but i have my card and i dont plan on growing a huge amount lol just enough so i dont have to spend so much a month.





and a better break down of some of the parts i have

Yield Master II Supreme Reflector - 6"
Sunmaster Super Deluxe - 600 Watt HPS
6 inch In-Line Fan 400 CFM

timers,water pumps,all the others.


also any ideas on how long i should keep the seedlings on a small lamp before moving them into something so big, I dont want to fry them over night.
