green light and flowering

Got a quick question bout lights.
If your in flowering and you need to get in grow room to do emergency repairs. Can you use a green light and it not screw up your grow?
The reason I say green is because plants supposedly can't detect green light because they reflect it.
Any help would appreciated.

there was a thread on one of the forums a week or so ago where people discussed this subject. I stopped reading it so idk what they concluded but all my grow books say to use green lights.

Appreciate the response, not sure I'll need them. Just like to be prepared for as much as I can. Would hate to mess up a decent grow because I wasn't prepared

Yes you can use green lights to work in the room during dark period, it is mentioned in the Jorge Cervantes Ultimate Grow DVD.

I have used them, but I fucking hate doing it. Like you said, plan ahead and hope you never have to even make it an issue.

Plants cannot see the green light that is given off green bulbs, so they ARE safe to use during dark periods.
