My 4 strain choice...(any experiance with these?)

Im planning on a 4 strain growth.. only 4 full grown plants.. so im thinking it will be at least 4 months between grows...

firstly
Strawberry Cough
for a nice sativa dominant strain

White Rhino
for a very "couchlock" indica strain

AK-47
for the chilled out music/movie loving days/nights/

THC Bomb
just a more average smoke i believe but i higher yeald . which will be handy with the long grows...


has anyone had any experiance with these strains.. growing and smoking?

any information at all on these strains will be great and help me sway my decicion...

I've grown and smoked AK47. It's one of my very favorites. It always seems to energize me though and it's not the best strain for right before bed. Don't get me wrong, it's a great strain for listening to music, chilling out, etc. But you might find it to be a great option for mountain biking, going to a concert, skiing, as well.

It's easy to grow, but can get big if you let it. Expect 2-3x stretch if you grow in hydro. Also, you'll definately need good odor control. Yeilds are good, though there are higher yielders out there. High is a happy, paranoia free social experience in moderate doses. A couple tokes past that and you will be brain dead but mobile.

yeah thanks for the heads up on the smell... ill have to get a decent carbon filter...

height shouldnt be a problem as im planning on a tall grow room ... mabie just a problem if it grows out... i can always try keep it as tight as possible during the grow...

i wasnt sure weather to pick AK-47 or AK-48 .. i hear both are good highs..

bt the high sounds just like what i was looking for ... a nice high which wont knock me out ... and i can sit with friends and smoke. listen to music/ watch movies and go out into town even without feeling like i need to just sit in a corner all night.

whats the grow cycle like ... about 7 weeks flowering? or more?

No comparison between AK47 & AK48. Serious Seeds AK47 is a truly legendary strain with significant sativa in it which gives that upbeat high. AK48, while decent, isn't as strong, and is much more indica dominant. AK48 will couch lock you.

Different breeders, different genetics.

AK 47 is supposed to be 9 weeks of flower. I would recommend planning for 10-11 weeks unless you are working with clones or let the plant go to full maturity before flipping to 12/12.

Strawberry cough is one of my personal favorites but I have only had it 2x. A friends dad had a straw cough that he worked for 20+ yrs and bread and it was the most amazing danks but he got busted so the genetics are lost forever...but the regular version tastes great too and the smoke expands like crazy in your lungs making you cough your ass off...

Yeah i wasnt sure if the name had anything to do with how it was smoked.. glad i didnt have to ask lol ..

yeah it looks amazing on all the grows ive seen recently .. at the moment i think im more exited about this grow than i was about xmas as a child..... Kinda lame but im glad i joined the forum... it would suck having to hol dback from telling everyone about it as they grow ...

Im realy having a problem deciding on the strains ..

the problem is ... it will cost me a lot to get set up ... and i would like ot make that back on my first grow .. and the rest for personal use..

i wanted to grow one realy dominant sative and one dominant indica ...

so Strawberry cough and White rhino..
an nice strong 50/50 mabie even 60/40 sativa side...
at the moment im thinking AK 47 ..

and the other one ... (possibly 2 now) im stuck ...

I need a big yeald to help pay for set up .. so either THC Bomb or Big Bud.. but i seriously cant decide...
grown either of the two?

Re AK47 grow / veg time: it depends on what gardening technique you use and how much space you have. I usually grow into a bush, topped once, shooting for about 40 inches final height so it fits under my lights. That means switching to 12/12 around 16"-20".

She is nute tollerant, drinks like a fish, and likes around 6000 lumens per square foot.
