Fan Timer

Just wondering what types of timers for your fans are being used? I was just leaving mine on, but not really needed, Id rather have it going every 5mins or so, any suggestions? I seen an electronic one at Walmart that supposedly does down to the minute. Not sure if it meant I could set it to go off every 5mins or what. Thanks.

i run the $5 timer from walmart. i plug a 6 way power strip into the timer and plug my fan into that. been working great for years. never changed a timer yet

How often does your fan go off? I already use the dial style for my lights, but those are only down to 30mins Im looking for something thats to go off every 5 mins, Ill go check them out again, was alittle baked last time.

i put my fan on the same circuit as the light timer. its probably not ideal but does save some costs, and keeps the temps perfect for my grow.

the one i get at wally world is in 15 min

but if your running 220 volts to power your ballasts likeme them you will need a seperate timerfor 110 power the fans.
and ?howcan it save cost if it is still powering the fans threw the light timer vers if it was power up by there own timer. its goingto cost the same.
