Just writing in to intoduce myself too. I'm in Aurora, got my Dr. visit 3 months ago. Still haven't got my pernanent card? Got chronic liver pain hep c. Anyways I mostly just read these threads and learn. Did outdoor back in the day so I'm just trying to get exp. indoor. Been trying a few different disp. some good, some not. Got a couple of strains of real good kush...

or even longer but it seems with the wait some good can come my yearly registration fee is being waived so the 90 bucks i payed last year gets to go to this years

Do they refund your money or something, or just give you a credit towards next years fee? I paid my fee to the state through my Dr's office and it was charged to my card immediately, and I'm sure a lot of other people did the same. How does this work for those of us that paid our fee through an intermediary?
 
Look, I know there are people out there way more deserving of MM, and that sucks. I'd like to know if I can get a card for chronic back pain. Some days I can't even walk or stand up straight without a lot of pain, and I rarely sleep well. I go to the chiropractor, do exercises, but refuse to take muscle relaxants or other meds because they generally make me feel ill.

Save your judgments people, just looking for advice. Should I forget about MM and wait until it's fully legal, like in Brekenridge? I live in Boulder, ha ha, yes Boulder. Can someone recommend a doctor?

Am I the only one that keeps getting disp medicine that has been chopped early

in the last few weeks I have had

white widow

pull out the loupe and sure enough mostly clear trichs, a few cloudy and no sign of amber??? WTF ???

and none of it makes me want to grow it, sure I get medicated but it is very disappointing

anybody else experiencing this?

Can anyone comment on whether back pain is a legitimate need? I can't even pick up my 2 month old daughter without shooting pain. I'd like to be able to play with her without the constant throbbing and bad mood.

As of now chronic pain will get you a card, best if you have a documented history with a doctor detailing the pain and treatment, there is talk of getting rid of pain as a factor as that is what most people in CO are using to abuse the system

My caregiver takes care of doc cost and card fee and gives patients 1/4 a month no charge, but does not run a disp.

Nah I got some pretty premature meds as of late too. I also got some maui wowie but it was pretty good not as premature as others but like i said a long time ago in this thread it just goes to show you that not all the buds the same quality and there will be a market for superior smoke because not everyone can grow it...it actually takes love for the plant not love for the cash. I really have just been trying to find good smoke so I can get some good clones but haven't found a whole lot that I want to grow either.

I think you should be good ED its like this if (happened to my friend and now its coming up to my turn) When your card comes for this year, and its a year past when you registered. it has next years experation on it so you don't need to get a 2010 license expires 2011 from the date you originally registered mine was in feb of last year.

I have seen some underdone stuff as of late but found some really good stuff too. Some HONG KONG thats going around is really mature but as everyone knows no one can beat your own grown stuff and mines coming up pretty soon can't wait.

I thought I was just trippin' but I'm glad someone else notices as well. I stopped going to my main dispensary because lately everything seems to be chopped way early. Fucking pistils everywhere, the nasty hay smell, and whispy shitty looking buds that look like they were grown under LEDs. Its really sad to see an awesome strain like AK47 or white widow butchered because they cut it weeks too early. Let that shit put on some weight and get some flavor.

No more of this BS. I go to another dispensary that has a pocket microscope and I'm going to check before I buy. I'm not buying unripe buds anymore.
 
And seriously, where's the fucking fire weed? I guess the dispensaries or growers are keeping it to themselves.

I'd gladly pay an outrageous $60 an eighth if I knew it was one hitter quitter shit.
 
Not only are disp meds not properly done they are not trimmed or cured very well either. That comes from being dependent on what they can buy independent growers like us and greed. I've taken in meds for wholesale on more then one occasion that did not ever wind up on the shelf. They took it home for personal use ;).

Want real fire? In my experience, the best buds on a regular basis come from small grower co-ops. People you know and trust. Genetics and quality controls you have a say in.

Exactly. The dispensaries get the leftovers or stuff that wasn't good enough for someone down the supply chain to snatch up. Unfortunately, the number of people I know and trust AND can grow weed I would want to smoke is a very limited number.

Once I harvest my own crop in a couple months, I won't give a shit anyhow since I won't need to get my herb at the dispensaries. Until then, I'm stuck with the beasters...
 
Know how you feel sick. I'm getting a perpetual grow set up going but due to some delays I'm still 6+ weeks from the first harvest, and then another 2-3 weeks for drying and curing, so I'm stuck paying someone else's prices for at least another couple months. I can't wait until the day arrives when I can sit down and smoke my own stuff and know that I'll never need to pay dispensary prices again.
