Moonlight Simulator

1st grow closet CFL setup. Not really looking for any advice right now (haven't started yet) but I have a blue LED moonlight simulator that seems to make the frogs in my terrarium pretty horny. Anybody know if this thing has any use? Maybe in any of the dark hours?

If you want to breed fogs then yes. If you want fat buds then no,

I doubt it. If you want to experiment with it I suggest doing it on a plant that is not part of your main grow. I know its a moonlight simulator and all...but the idea of any kind of lights (besides my green sentinel sensor light) on during the dark cycle just says "Don't do it" to me.

You think it would be better to experiment during vegetative or flowering stage?

I have two sides of the closet that I can work with, so I could do one on each side. Doing a pretty cheap setup, no profit either. So if I jack one up no biggie. Just tryin to figure what would be the best way to experiment with this thing if I do choose to.

not unless your grow light is a sunlight simulator
 I thought that's what a grow light was? :?

Anyway, if you are going to experiment with this...

Keep in mind that if this thing does replicate moonlight exactly (which I highly doubt), plants sleep in moonlight and do not use the energy (which is like none) given off by it.

If it doesn't replicate moonlight exactly, and plants stay awake under it...then using it for flowering is not an option at all as they will never have an actual night cycle.
