400w Grow Cab!!!

Hey i whould like some opinions about this grow cab setup. I need to know what cfm to use for venting, and what type of fan/blower to use.

You've been debating a grow cab for a while haven't you? This Looks decent, with 400w your going to need air cooling for your light, I would make sure to consider the benefits /costs of an air cooled set up at this caliber.

As most would agree, the simpler is usually the better.

More light, more plants. Minimum 150CFM duct fan, more won't hurt. I say more plants because 400w will only penetrate 1-1 1/2 feet, no point in growing plants taller than that with that light so you need to go short and wide with that light. I'd try 600w and 9-16 plants. If you only want 4 plants, shrink you floor down to 3x3 and finish them off at 3 feet tall. BTW I had some problems with Grow Light Express. Buy your light local if you can, I recommend Greenhouse ballasts because of the manufacturers warranty. If the ballast fails within 3 years, the retailer gives you a new one same day. Good luck!
PS If you are really digging that light, try a CMH bulb. I don't have experience using them, just waiting to see a 600w or 1000w come out.

Minimum 150CFM, like I already said. Yes, your light can plug right into a timer.
