Dual Voltage/Dimmable Lumatek 600 vs. Single Volt Lumatek 600

Just wondering if anyone has any insight into the differences in performance (if any) of the dual voltage digi Lumateks vs the single voltage ones. I read somewhere that the dual voltage units aren't as efficient as the 120 or 240 volt models. I want to have the best performance rather than if its dual voltage. Thanks. :joint:

I bought my 400 Lumatek and hydrofarm daystar ac a year ago, but haven't been able to use it, but I have tested it and it produces decent light. I guess the Lumatek models are pretty reliable so far.

I havent had no issues, im about 4 grow into the life of it. i keep a fan blowing on the ballist and its out of the light too tho. i hear the cooler u keep these things the longer they last. BUT unless u have a DIGITAL bulb, dont be dimming it if its a dimmable version.

DAMN. I thought I was up on the tech info until you mentioned digital bulbs. So does your ballast(s) have the 120/240 volt option? :leaf:

Mine does,,600 watt dimming,,,I only use it at 600 watts tho,,,less than a year old. yea it's 120/240 option. NIce so far.
Cool bro. Thanks. I just think its weird that the 400 Lumatek I have doesn't have these options. It works well though. I really want a dual 600 watt setup. I also have a home made fixture that has room for 18 CFLs on it for veg. :joint:
