Mother Keeper Grow Tent Complete Kit

Hi All,

I am new to this site. I have never grow before and am looking for some advice. I just ordered the mother keeper complete grow tent from http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=53545. I ordered 30 white widow seeds for my first grow cycle.

Does anyone have any expierience with this product?

How many plants should I be putting in this system with the lighting etc that it comes with?

Again I am completely new so any help would be appreciated.
Any recomendations on the soil to use when switching seedlings over to pots?

What kind of fertilizer and when should I start using it?

Correct amount of light for the different grow phases?

Again I am looking for information particular to this system so anyone who has it please let me know!!

this is a double post. you should e3rase the other thread. If you are new to growing I would suggest maybe growing around 10 seeds unless they are feminized. You will want to get your technique down so you don't want to plant all your seeds but you want enough to give you some plants even if you kill some or they are males. That box is really intended to keep mother plants and clones and for vegetative growth not flowering although I'm sure you could flower ion there if you wanted. I will try to get some more info I need to look at some specs.
 
Ok thanks. Could I use the same lights that come with the system for all stages of groeth? Maybe if I just adjust the lighting times depending on the stage of growth?
 
yes if you swich the light cycle to 12 hours on and 12 hours off they will bud, the problem is the light intesity isn't all that great. For growing that will work amazing but for budding it will be just okay. I would probably add some cfls in there personally to increase yeilds a little more. I would say right now it has about the minimum amount of light you need to grow good buds a few cfls will definately help with the flowering and are cheap and don't produce a lot of heat.
 
Does that mean that I can not use the Mother Keeper system for flowering at all or just that it is not the BEST way to do it?

I cant really afford to drop anymore coin so Im hoping I will be able to make it work somehow.
