Hi people, i wonder if you could help me out with your thoughts on this CFL kit from ebay!
I paid £55 and that included delivery, i thought that was a decent price.
It comes with a bulb, shade and eaziroll hangers.
Is it any good? I am only using it for my mother room as i a have a 600w hps in my flower room!
Your thoughts are much appriciated!
Thanks

Fastlight CFL's are available in 2 models:
6400k for propagation & vegetative growing. (Blue Spectrum)
2700k for flowering stage growing. (Red Spectrum)

Fastlight CFL's are effective, energy-saving, reliable, low heat generating horticultural grow lamps giving excellent results and lower operating costs for all indoor growers.

Plants need light in the correct spectrum, which is proven to be between 400 & 700 nana wave, and Fastlight CFL's produce high output light in exactly this spectrum. There is no wasted light unlike discharge (Metal Halide & High Pressure Sodium) lamps where much of the light cannot be seen or used by the plant.

Fastlight CFL's provide 100% P.A.R. (Photosynthetically Active Radiation) high output light and are used successfully for all propagation, vegetative or flowering stages.

Fastlight CFL's do not generate excessive heat and can be used directly over plants. This is the secret of growing with Fastlight CFL's, positioned directly above, just 3 cm or 4 cm, the top of the plants.

Unlike HID discharge lamps this new generation of grow lamps will not burn your plants, this is a real advantage compared to growing with discharge lamps, as there is no wasted light, which occurs when discharge lamps are positioned high above plants.

Fastlight CFL's give 100 % PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation), correct spectrum, high lumen light directly on top of your plants - where they need it.

The lamp has an E40 screwthread fitting for use in an E40 lampholder, mains supply voltage is 240v 50hz

I like to use small (26w) bulbs better watts to lumen ratio but those bigger set up are less of a pain to set up and move

hi there i used two of these in my last grow.
links in my sig check out near the end.

when i finished using them i packed them back in their original packaging and tried them again a week later only 4 out of the 8 elements worked on both bulbs.

im thinking it may have been from the cold in the loft and maybe even damp.

so watch out for that.:peace:

i dont need them now ive switched to HPS :bigjoint:
