$100 Need all hydro set-up what to get first? Start from seeds.

oh yeah you can get feeding scedule either from hydro store or their web site i use the keep it simple drain to waste schedule but if you use hydro ton youll want recirculating program i should of studied your thread a little better before replying have used hydroton but discovered im lazy youll be wanting to hook up a timer to your nute pump when using the hydroton

those cement mixing tubs would work good i cut up a 350ga. plastic tank & used through hull bilge pump fitting for a boat & drilled hole with 1'' wood drill bit & sealed with silicone cut off garden hose fits fine j.b. weld[epoxy glue] 1/2'' pvc pipe riser to pump outlet & slipped other end of garden hose on riser so far no problems & i can slip hose on & off as needed to either circulate nutes or to pump out res.[to drain] into container of choice run pumps on power strip with switch built in so i can turn pumps on & off

Timer yeah yeah your right. G1 any suggestions on a timer for nutes, & lights. Yeah I'm doing flood drain hydroponics

i use mechanical timer with 2 outlets i run light on 1 plug & exhaust fan on the other if you use htg. budget light you wont have cooleable reflector so youll want to plug oscillating fan in second outlet i did 2 grows with same set up youll be using in summer i ran light cycle so most of my on time was at night 2 cope with heat issues you can find mechanical timers @ wal-mart [where i got mine] i prefer the ones with 2 outlets & no digital crap harbor freight has them too & thrift stores are a good place to find a lot of stuff cheap smalla/c. units & heaters [if you need heat inyour room use caution] i have small ceramic heater with thermostat $ 22 at k-mart as my gro-room is outside on patio on north side of house easier 2 cool in summer & its out of sight too i shouldnt be having heat issues as my air cooled reflector will be pulling warm air out of room my gro-room is a work in progress youll get there i started just like you

smart idea dude, wish i had done a budget grow when i first started. instead i decked out a 15 x 20 room with the latest and greatest shit i could find and spent alomost 8000 on my first grow. +rep for doing the smarter thing and starting small. I will say i did end up with 2.5kg from my first grow, so i did make a little money back plus didn't have to buy any for me to toke on.

What difference does it make what you get with the first 100 if that isn't enough to get started (which it isn't)? I guess I'd go for whatever I thought I could get a good buy on. Or better, put the 100 away until you have 200 or 300 more to add to it.

2 meters you should get to know& understand #1[my opinion]is the ph. meter #2[again my opinion] is t.d.s. meter which measures total disolved solids in parts-per-million not having some understanding of these things & their application to hydro growing really kinda leaves you in the dark while not absolutely neccessary they're a big help do a little homework now & reap the rewards later

diamond nectar is a humic acid and helps the plant take the nutrients better basically...wiki "chelate"//

cal-mag is calcium, magnesium...essential to grow i could always add more g-h micro but i tried this.
